Curious convoy 4:32pm on 17 Nov 2008 I'm wondering how you've managed to get to work for BBC. It's either you have all the luck or BBC is not up to its reputation. Just look at what you've written down here "It's entirely possible that the police were just moving vehicles from one place to another." You couldn't even bother yourself to dig out the truth, yet you are bold enough to link it with your conclusion "But it does show that the authorities in this part of China have the resources to deal with social unrest if more people lose their jobs because of the world's financial crisis." Could you please show me where is the logic? If you know nothing and have nothing new to say, then don't say. Where are the ethics for correspondents?
Not quite what we thought 12:29pm on 13 Aug 2008 What surprised me is why you are always so eager to venting out your ignorance about things you are talking. As a journalist from BBC, you should do some homework before you post your blog for the sake of respect for the name of BBC. I don't understand how you didn't find out the footprint fireworks shown on TV are not live ones. Does your finding show your professionalism? As to the two girls, I have to say it's a stupid decision. They can record Lin's voice to the best of her performance. But I'm glad the director revealed that it's the other girl who's singing. Both of the two girls are lovely and I don't think there'll be any "scars" left for the singing girl. If you look it from another perspective, we have two popular lovely angels now instead of just one.
8th of the 8th, 2008 01:25am on 09 Aug 2008 James, I just want to let you know your report on the Opening Ceremony on this morning's BBC News 24 was the most ridiculous and biased report I've ever seen. I have read through most of your blogs, the impression you gave me is that you are so systematically trained to be biased and you can't see anything beyond your knowledge or I should say your intelligence, which I doubt you have. I wish I have recorded your reporting and put your words here, which will absolutely help people in interpreting your blogs.
