completley aggree with most of what you say, and here in Tampa we were expecting a bad year, but not as bad as this one. Morris i think will be allowed to grow out of his rookie mistakes as he seems to have support at one buc place. the only reason i ask is because their have been 3 games this year we have lost due to poor coaching desisions, while people are happy to blame Olsen for the Offence and Bates for the Defence i am of the feeling the buck (no pun intended) stops at the head coach. he hired them and should man up and fire them unless he is happy to be lumped in with his poor co-ordinating.

dont get me wrong as i have no problem bedding in a rookie coach as they have to start somewhere. i was just curious as to what people thought.
Jauron is NFL's first coaching casualty 11:37am on 23 Nov 2009 good solid assessment their Neil, however it does seem strange that the HC of the worst team in the NFL is almost as untouchable as if he were taking the Buccaneers to the 'Bowl.

Are the Colts on their way to the Super Bowl? 10:36am on 30 Oct 2009 i cant say i'm surprised as most are that they have done well after the changes they made in the off season, as they have done it the way it should be done by growing ther new HC in the previous season. not like the Bucs who have thrown a coaching team together then fired the OC 10 days before the season starts so that now we have a new offensive scheme and the players are having to practice plays in the game. another big story out of the RayJay is that number 1 draft QB Josh Freeman will be starting under center when greenbay go to Tampa after the Bucs bye week following their game at wembley. lot of Buccaneer fans not happy with the offensive co-ordinator Olsen as they feel the rookie is about to be thrown to the wolves.

out of the NFC teams it looks like New Orleans will be marching all the way to the 'Bowl in Miami and probably against the Patriots as they look the most complete team at the moment on both sides of the football.

i'm a Welsh Crewe Alex Fan that loves the Bucs. i'm pretty sorted for complaining over how rubbish everybody is. you could say i'm a glutton for misery :0)
London bound Buccaneers look to brighter future 11:08am on 21 Oct 2009 @cal_bills - good point but you will find a lot of UK Pats fans are fairweather and know very little about the game and its particulars and only know the team because of super bowl appearances or if they watch Family Guy. i will add that this is not all pats fans, just most of them

@fuzzy_reddevil we have had to put up with crazy desisions like that from raheem all season i'm afraid. the guy is really a nice bloke but just not head coach material for the NFL

firstly i think pepole may be suprised to learn the bucs have a larger fanbase than the patriots.

Neil; while you state the team expects secretly to be in this posistion you cant deny that a lot of games that have gotten away from us ('skins & Panthers in particular) is simply down to bad coaching, motivating and co-ordinating.

if it were not for some of this poor desision making with defensive plays we would be possibly 2-4 or (as an optimist) 3-3 which at this stage in the season is not great...but it's not 0-6

i would like to leave you with the pefect example of our season so far, 21-21 at home against the panthers they moved the ball 80 yards using the same running play over and over, culminating in the winning TD with 30 secs on the clock. not once did Bates (D co-ordinator)call an effective play to stop the run and force a very poor Delhomme to go through the air stopping the drive or comming away with an Interception!

i fear that Raheem and his staff wont be given much longer to realise this "bright future" as there is enough talent to get 5-6 wins on the board by the end of the season, it's just the coaching letting us down.

someone gets upset at a comment about their team and then spends a good portion of their day defending the team with others justifying the comment!
Weekend of drama looms in the Football League 12:00pm on 01 May 2009 sorry paul dont you think regarding league one relegation you could have mentioned that Crewe Alex have a chance to stay up? all we need it for Carlise and brighton to lose by 2 goals or more and we need to win at least 2-0 (albeit against an already champions leicester). Unlikley but you could have given us a mention seeing as it would be the most remarkable escape from relegation given our form before new year!
