Unblocking websites 5:31pm on 31 Jul 2008 Do you know why Chinese people are so kind to foreigner? Just because the Chinese government block some of the websits like BBC. If such websites are accessible to ordinary people, I think most of them will very angry about what you are saying.

It is true, wether you admit or not. No matter how long you have been a journalist, James, it your point of view and the company your worked for decide what you are saying. Politics is is complex, ordinary people can not know the essence of it, but affects by specific things (what the media say). People just know some aspect of the things that you want them know, but the whole. Media is a tool to strengthen the power of ruling the country.
Capping emissions? 11:53am on 10 Jul 2008 Anyone who have been to China will never believe in all that you said. The one who believe in you, so far as I concern, haven't been to China or kown little about China, even do not know where China is. So, james what can you learn from this?
Capping emissions? 11:25am on 10 Jul 2008 I cannot help thinking why lots of western people misundersanding China? All of them are brain brushed by their government or bias media? Actually, most of the people I met here are very kind and warm-hearted. I am so disappointed at the western media....

Just imagine, western company pay very littler for Chinese workers and then sell their products to China in a very very high price. Even the most new products will send back to their countries or other developed countries as soon as the products being produced. James, do not alway on one hand blame China and on the other hand deprive China and all the developing countries. In addition, actually, you really teach me a lot that I can not learn in China, thank you.
Testing pollution levels 11:40am on 09 Jul 2008 Please let us back to the topic, my friends. I don't think it is good idea to take a test just in the worst place and at tht worst time of the day. So far as I concern when I am in Beijing, I seldom saw such smoggy air. As we know, Beijing is much bigger and crowded than London, so it is really hard to deal the bad air condition. I am so confused with why western media always overstate the bad things of China, but ignore the goods?
