I want UK orientated business stories, not just UK Your money. I want UK orientated content full stop. This is irritating beyond belief and I'm now setting up custom UK news pages on Factiva and using the home pages of the UK press. I desperately want to use the BBC News page, having been a beacon of quality for so many years but I can't. Please for the love of whatever deity you worship, sort this out properly.
What would Tories cut? 6:16pm on 30 Jun 2009 Sounds honest to me. Health and international development are protected, everything else is fair game. What else can you ask for this far ahead of an election? Better than Brown who flatly denies any government cuts.

I work for a company with a mainland Europe HQ and our internet traffic is routed via there first, so the ability to select editions was essential for me and my UK colleagues (numbering several hundred and I'm sure we're not alone). Please, please reconsider this decision.
Apple - angering the fans? 3:32pm on 11 Jun 2009 I'm not quite sure what all the fuss is about to be honest. The new phone doesn't really add much onto the old iphone 3G so I'm perfectly happy to wait for the next iteration in June 2010. The new 3.0 software runs fine on the 3G (the Gold Master version has already leaked onto the usual sources) and even that isn't stunningly different to version 2.0/1. People also forget that there's a fantastic market for second hand iphones. I finally got round to flogging my 2G to one of these internet recycling places the other day and got £150 for it. More than enough to subsidise the cost of a new phone/contract, especially if you're selling the 3G.
iPhone wish list and tablet talk 9:19pm on 17 Mar 2009 @neilhoskins - because the iphone is now the driver for other mobile devices. The market has moved over to touchscreen, Microsoft and Google are launching app stores etc.

From what I've seen from today's announcement, most of the long standing gripes have been addressed. The others like the quality of the camera are hardware based and I'm sure will be addressed for the third generation device whenever it will be released.

@twelveeightyone - take a look at Mark's posting time. Unless he's Derek Acorah, he wouldn't have read the transcript ;)

Ecstasy risks 2:31pm on 13 Feb 2009 It disappoints me the way that this government seems to only rely on scientific fact when it suits them. If you want to make a moral judgement about something then just come out and say that you think 'drugs are bad, m'kay' rather than trying to wrap it up in poorly referenced material and thinly justified health grounds. I really wish that Jacqui Smith and her colleagues would stop patronising us.

Incidentally - on this subject of ignoring sensible scientific data, please urge your MP to sign EDM 754 (google it for details).
