Whats the story on the Missing Electoral Registers and the 400% rise in Postal Votes for Glenrothes. All seems a bit Mugabiesque to me.
Here and now 8:26pm on 27 Jan 2009 I really hope the budget goes through for the sake of Scotland.
However it would be a long game win for SNP for the budget to fail. The message that Labour doesnt care about Scotland and would do anything to scupper progress will show them to be a chip off the ole block really. Useless to Scotland as they are to England.

I get bored hearing about this challenge to find a sucessful economy blah blah. Lets look at today, again Stirling gets thrown away to the dogs, few cents on the dollar and euro respectively. We have fell behind what 20% and more in last 6 months. Dont go claiming we are doing well in this recession, we are not we are getting slated in the world markets.
Gordo claims to be the leader as he trundles around the gulf trying to get Arab states to stabilise the oil price. ERM OPEC? Perhaps they will wholehartedly agree with Brown, only issue is one wants 25 Dollar and one wants 85.

Just because he was first to throw money at the banks doesnt make him clever it allows every other country to test the water before jumping. Being the first lemming is not an accolade in my view.
Strict neutrality 12:38pm on 31 Oct 2008 Sky News Banner is saying that Mandy is to formaly anounce the merger of HBOS will go ahead today.

I hope Labour pays a Heavy penalty for this - starting with Glenrothes.

Between this 'announcement' and Labour showing at Hollyrood its contempt for Scotland and its workers I am discusted at the party who is supposed to be a bit socialist, bending over to the bullies AGAIN. My family has had 3 generations of Labour councilors, local and regional and even they are turning away from a group they dont even recognise.

I watched it last night. I thought this could be an opportunity to perhaps learn something.

Boy was I wrong. I never heard a positive statement for Scotland in the whole show, I was under the impression that these 'characters' were supposed to be looking out for Scotland. Instead it was a pre-rehearsed show of stupidity on just about everyones part, with the exception of the Speaker i suppose who tried to keep things moving.

The highlight I suppose was Blundell on his nose picking party. As a male I would like to appologise to Anabell who must have been hiding behind her sofa.
I would also like to comiserate with almost all of the MSP's , the thought that the MP's and not the MSP's are the cream of Scottish Politics must make them sick.

Thankfully this horror story was after the watershed. But perhaps we should be letting Scotland see what they are doing in our name by showing it at 6:30

There must be a better way forward in Westminster Hollyrood communication. Remove these MP's from Westminster and allow Hollyrood to represent Scottish interests is my favourate. (Big money saver).
Glow or gloom 12:52pm on 23 Oct 2008 What a shame for Sarah Brown. She would almost get my vote in Sympathy. However the bigger picture of a trashed economy by her husband reminds me not to be fooled by this lame bambi approach.

Does anyone remember the BBC posted a Personal Inflation Calculator. I tried it out and found that with the same circumstances I had the lowest Inflation in Scotland. So we must be doing something right I think. Lets face it in the end the majority will follow their pockets. So thumbs up for Holyrood and the enlightened ones.....

Have we yust seen how Mandy bought his peerage? He is going to try to save Labour by undermining the Tory leaders with his grubby roumour milling venom.

Osbourne was silly to ever trust someone like Mandy, he is a creature of the Golumn variety, cant be trusted.

In the end Osbourne took no money so there is nothing there. Broon is bouncing on board to try to make something o nothing also.

It all stinks of a party with nothing to offer taking the softer option of 'if we cant do it lets make them look bad' The last tactic available to the playground bully.

Call the election get this poison out of the way and let the country move forward.

Pity you are back to the boring Antagonistic wally you were before.

Come on you can do better.

For the record I am against all of these bail outs, were throwing money away. Till the banks are forced to lend at lower rates to eachother the markets are screwed. The banks will take the handouts and use it to buy up bargain basement companies, this to me is commercial piracy.

Are you sugesting that the 145000 that couldnt fill out a ballot paper would have all voted Labour. Thats a pretty worrying claim and just a little bit insulting to the average Labour voter.

Everyone knows that the McConnell job is a joke but it has been forgotten as the economy has had to trancend day to day politics add in the employment of Mandelson and we can all see that without the economic problems Labour would be getting slaughtered in the press.

Its another second choice as it was the fool Des Brown turned it down. He wont be missed and Mr Murphy will do nothing for Scotland as did his predecessor. Its a token job, Des knew it and Jim soon will.
