Language of the downturn 00:34am on 22 Feb 2009 Have noticed a lot of posts which are HUGE in content. People wake up to the fact these are FILLIBUSTERS ! Designed to sway us from the pertinent points which are easy cause they are important.
Willthis get thru the BBC filter ? Who knows.

You claim that Brown has simply been unlucky in the circumstances he finds himself in.

Unlucky to have been found out you mean !

Unlucky that HIS chickens have come home to roost sooner than he thought!

Unlucky that his top down everything must go through the State philosophy doesnt actually work and have consequences such as what we are experiencing.

He is one , not the only one certainly but one of the main architects of the meltdown of the economy. Of course he required useful idiots such as those Banking Leaders who are now exposed as charlatans but he has been the main "brains" behind the Governments financial policy over the the last 11 years.

It is breathtaking that a number of people in the media refuse to recognise this !

Beware the City merry-go-round 2:22pm on 15 Feb 2009 Some of these comments are putting some of the activities of ACPO under the microscope, so with that in mind can I ask what on Earth was the Chief Constable of North Wales doing co hosting a radio show on Radio 2 Last week ?
Shouldn't he be getting om with the job he is paid for ?
Would he permit a lowly constable do that?

I find all of the Tory outrage about Jacqui Smith's expenses totally hypocritical after the Conway scandal

As they represent the party of Hamilton, Aitken and Archer they should be the last people to point the finger.
----------------------------------------------------------

Aitken and Archer were Jailed, Hamilton was disgraced and lost his seat and as for Conway disgrace awaits him and he will also loose his seat.

Now what about the Labour sleaze merchants ?
