Rafa revived 3:47pm on 27 Oct 2009 #21,totally agree you with you on that one-but he will be carried all the way,his contribution will be negligeable-not a patch on the young Michael Owen but typical of a has been,continually running offside cos he needs the extra yard or two.World Cup 2010-forget it Owen.By the way,I have mocked Lucas and on the odd occasion Marscherano-but without Gerrard on the pitch,they did remarkably well AND Benayoun.Torres goal was a peach but what a through ball,served on a plate and well taken.

Raving Roy on borrowed time? 1:06pm on 07 Oct 2009 an entertaining read Robbo!just goes to show by the amount of comments,keep em coming pal!-I got an email from the UK after the Man C-U game,a picture of SAF holding up the extra time board which read "NOT UNTIL WE´VE SCORED"-NO COMMENT NEEDED.However at the weekend,Wiley did look out of shape,Foster has not got the quality of a United goalie,Sunderland could have come away with all 3pts(this from a NUFC fan-not bad,eh!),Keano should waste his time on other fads.Wenger HAS brought quality to the PL.The game would not be the same without the likes of SAF and Wenger.Terry/Cavalho outstanding,Torres-probably the best striker at the mo-did he play?

nobody could have missed out on Fatashley and the cockneymob missmanaging the club,NOT EVEN ME who although is an ex-pat,reads the club news,beeb and other papers daily on the net.Quite a few of the players managed to "perform" even an injury prone Viduka but not Owen who on over 100k a week did what?never ever broke a sweat.It is the players on the park who should take matters into their own hands,regardless of what goes on in the boardroom.However if you have lost your pride in what you do!Is there any loyalty to clubs left,there are a few,but JT will be intersting to follow,the talk of a new challenge is bullshit as Chelsea still have not won the CL,is that not enough incentative to remain at the club.

Real,when his skills were mostly needed,he squandered chances that normally he would have netted.Lack of interest,result-relegation-already made his mind up he was on his bike from NUFC-you tell me!
however nothing as you say compares to Sven and Notts,why?only he knows!
Fixture and frettings 12:28pm on 18 Jun 2009 enjoyable blog as always Robbo,it takes a bit of getting used to looking for your team (Boro and NUFC)amongst the premiership fixtures only to remember... your destiny.In a bit of a quandry,as an ex-pat in Sweden I now have the choice of watching the likes of NUFC-Donny or Man U-Pool on a Saturday afternoon-tough choice!the top 4 will as usual fight for the title with either Chelsea or Man U bringing it on home.The transfer market has gone berserk with the CR deal,but the Etoo rumour is even worse-I liked your Man C line up!!silly season is as the name suggests,just sit back relax and what will be-will be.cya next season Robbo,in the championship.
Is Owen still worth a gamble? 2:17pm on 17 Jun 2009 nice blog Phil,I WAS an Owen fan,he came to us(NUFC) breaking the transfer record set by Shearer.What have we got in return.sweet bugger all,4 seasons riddled with injuries.If he was the Owen of old,he would have put in more effort when fit than he did.I will not be sorry to see the back of him and best of British to whoever signs him,they are going to need it.No way Jose will any of the Big 4 sign him.A suggestion of play/pay seems the best option left for him.As to wearing an England shirt again....no way.He left Pool in search of glory and found nothing but old memories.Sorry Michael,you are an ex.
Hata la vista, Cristiano! 1:04pm on 11 Jun 2009 nice one Robbo-CR has done a lot for our game in the PL-love him or hate him,amongst the creme de la creme-SAF must be glad he did not accept 70m at the end of last season for 42 goals-this time round he only scored half as many but has put on another 10m in transfer money!BRILLIANT!Madrid will not get as much out of him than United did-fact!could not however fathom out how Pogatez ended up amongst the PL greats,if you had said Juninho-yes,but Pogatez-give me strength!!will let you off with it though-always enjoy your blogs-keep em coming.cya

don´t mean to split hairs BUT I am Y-I-1892man NOT "1982",I like Ancelotti and even though Wilkens has good knowledge of the Italien language-something always gets lost in translation!hope it works out for him as he will be an asset not only to Chelsea but the premiership,
bringing in Pirlo (that is if the rumour is true) however will not be! Kaka would certainly be-Becks in Blue?
