Walcott and Capello stun Croatia 11:19am on 12 Sep 2008 OMG!! will people please stop crediting englands win to croatia being down to ten men. in my opinion hvaing a na extra man can be a very good advantage BUT only if you make it so. england played well, making excellent use of the space and extra man, walcotts second goal for example. so many times we have seen england not exploit this situation; brazil in 2002 for example. well done england, great performance, i wait to make a complete judgement on capello and the team till the end of all the qualifiers however. but for now, great game. great performance.

p.s simunic should have been sent off neway, he clearly couldnt deal with walcott, showing that it was englands good play whihc resulted in them, taking the advantrage. players dont make rash challenges for kno reason ( well most of the time), rash challenges when players are frustrtaed or are forced to stop players illegally! which in my opinion makes the debate over kovacs red card pointless.
Russia look the real deal 00:45am on 22 Jun 2008 As fantastic as arshavin is, i feel like many people are looking pasy the quality of the rest of the russian team. in particular payluchenko who has been phenomenal, apart from some sloppy finishing his performances have been immense! i would love to see the russians go on from here and win this tournament, it wuld be a victory for pure attacking and highly entertaining football!
