A few people have asked for your opinions (above) about the re-call of Riquelme but you chose to ignore it .. why? they seem curious to get your opinion on this and obviously as you have written a blog on Argentina and Maradona, they are presented with an opprotunity to discuss and seek your opinion on the Argentine team so please answer...

Brazil refine tactics for World Cup 11:38am on 16 Nov 2009 Well TIm..I have decided to stop raining praises on the quality of your blogs...I thought Brazil contained England pretty well over the weekend though most of there first choice players were missing but as you said it could have been worse if the had there first team.

I for one is not pleased with Brazil's present style of play but when it is effective it is difficult to criticise. though I'm sure if they don't do well in the world cup then the Jusy will b eout.

Dunga has a ugly style of winning and that is uncharacteritic of the Smaba and for some reasons the beautiful futsal is now the spanish identity. I still find his team selection shocking still though particularly with the inclusion of Lucas, Josue, Julio Baptista, klebber instead of Andre Santos, Pato and Ronaldinho. The latter two who are bood form at the moment. Julio Baptista has hardly played 3omins in total for Roma this season. what is your opinion on this?

Milan did not play in the champions league last season, they came fifth and missed out. Fiorentina qualified instead.
Real, the Rossoneri and Ronaldinho 09:58am on 20 Oct 2009 Point of correction- Photo said Ronaldinho scored his first goal of the season on sunday- completely untrue, that was his second goal he got the equalizer against Atlanta the week before the international break. We all make mistakes but this is too petty so check you facts before you start writing please.

Brilliant piece once again as usual. just got a quick question- I learnt the preent AFA president has neever sacked the national team manager, instead most of them choose to resign. What are the views of the Argentine, are they happy to see Maradna lead them to the next world cup? Do you think Maradona would be the Manager come 2010 cos I can see nothing but anihilation for that team if the play the likes of Brazil, Spain or Germany in the world cup.

If I was in your shoes, I would rather heed to the comments on post #55 of COWSLEPE and incorporate this in your next blog.

The strucutre of your sentence and the style of your conjunctions are sometimes appaling for the position you hold in the heirachy of BBC fotball writers. I would like to think that you could certainly do better and improve in your next blog.

My observation is that you try to conjunct two sentences of different relevance in one paragraph and this often makes it difficult for the readers to derive a meaning or sense from the whole paragraph.

Also bear in mind before writing that all sorts of people read your article/blog from intellects tthrough college and high school pupil to garbage men so it is important that you construct them as clear and self explanatory as possible.

I hope these comments will not come across as breaking the house rules but if they do, moderators please kindly let Phil have a glance before sending to the recycle bin as they are in his best interest.

But eh!! I'm just an engineer, who am I to correct you- a whole BBC Chief football Writer, still I just thought I give you my penny's worth.
