An interview with President Obama 03:59am on 02 Jun 2009 It is clear that Israel is not taking Obama seriously on the settlements issue, since they proceeded ahead with their plans, despite him telling them flat out to stop.

I would be curious to see what he intends to do to further toughen his stance on this issue. If he lets this slip, he will lose respect and no longer be taken seriously. This not just from the Musilim world but from other nations in general as he will be regarded as a man of words with no actions to back them up.

On a different note, as far as american presidents are concerned, his cultural understanding of Islam and the muslim world is second to none. So in that regard there is hope. He just needs to be more tough on Israel who is in violation of international law. No point in playing the double standards game when it comes to the Israel / Palestine issue. It just does not work anymore.

As Mr Cheney pointed out, the 19 9/11 hijackers acted in a pre-Guantanamo world. But there was no shortage of grievances real, or (as he would have it) imagined." I don't believe this is a difficult case to make; Obama understands that while guantanamo is still active, the US will have no moral authority to point fingers at nations who violate human rights. If they were to do so while keeping the prison open, it would be called double standards.
What does "pro-life" mean these days? 09:32am on 21 May 2009 I guess its very simple logic really. Everyone starts life in embryonic form. Destroying or tampering with an embryo is destroying or tampering with a human being in his / her absolute earliest stage of life.

Justin Webb would not be here to make his comments if someone had tampered with his him back when he was in embryonic form.

Embryo = Human being in earliest stage of life.

I guess this is where the "pro life" term comes from.

I will quote you below:

Having worked in the games industry, I can confirm that you have hit the nail on the head with your comment.

Software engineers are taken for granted in many industries but in the gaming industry they are expected to be slaves.

The prime argument of employers are "but we are not in it for the money we love what we do, thus are willing to put in the hours for it". Sorry but thats lame. Playing games is fun. Programming them not so.

Futhermore a lot of overtime is due to mismanagement, as well as game producers / designers who are unable to come up with proper specs. Who tanks the damage for such sloppiness? Us programmers of course!
