Tuesday 8 December 2009 - in more detail 10:33pm on 08 Dec 2009 Moodys just came out and said the UKs credit rating could be downgraded from AAA, which would mean higher interest on government debt at the very least, and at worst spark capital flight, and given British banks exposure to even more toxic assets that is Dubai how long have we got before the inevitable implosion of the country and our demotion to 3rd world banana republic?

As for the Iraq inquiry, has anyone noticed that all the evidence against Saddam having WMD hasn't even been mentioned? A couple of examples of the top of my head are that Hussein Kamel, Saddam’s son-in-law, who Saddam had put in charge of chemical, biological and nuclear weapons, and defected to the West in 1995 when debriefed said that all the WMDs had been destroyed in 1991, or that any claims that Saddam had stockpiles of Sarin were obvious nonsense as the UN weapons inspectors who took apart his previous WMD program found that the quality was so bad that it would degrade so quickly that within 4-6 weeks it would be inert. I could pull out all my old files and go on and on but it doesnt matter now, we we lied to by the whole government, MPs, civil service, the intelligence services, they sold out the country, so now Tony Blair does speaking tours, the civil servants and MPs get promotions and fat pensions and we get blown to peices on the Tube.
Friday 4 December 2009 - in more detail 11:15pm on 04 Dec 2009 Meanwhile the possible bill to the taxpayer of the bank bailout has been put at £850BN, of course this is today's estimate, if we look at the US, losses today are estimated at a possible $23.7TN, which if we took that model would put our losses of at least £2TN, which is unpayable, if they print the money, they destroy Sterling, if they don't they destroy the banking system, if they back the banks, the government will be bankrupt, there is no way out of this now, we are like Wile E. Coyote off the end of the cliff, legs still spinning, waiting to plunge into the chasm.

This position has not changed, the only people talking about Iran and nuclear weapons are politicians, I have posted repeatedly quoting this yet every single time Iran and nuclear weapons are brought up on Newsnight no one ever mentions this, Joseph Goebbels would be proud. Of course they don't even mention that uranium for a bomb is enriched to greater than 85% and that the reactor enriched uranium is less than 20% which is what the IAEA has been finding, you might as well say I'm building a nuclear weapon because I have some granite in the rockery.
Tuesday 24 November 2009 10:53pm on 24 Nov 2009 So the Police are arresting people to get them on the DNA database, a database that the government back in 2007 admitted already had 100,000 errors in it and is just as insecure as the ID database and so open to tampering. Don't worry, when you get arrested or worse because of their errors they will put it down to "computer error", we are all Joseph K now.

As far as the £61.6bn loans are concerned, you have to realise there is no law now, not disclosing this material change to shareholders is no longer "securities fraud" as it was under those old fuddy duddy laws which sit on books even today, no, the banksters, the BoE and Treasury don't need to be troubled by laws, they are only for little people, like you and me.

The BBC seems to be ignoring the Iraq inquiry, which is not surprising, then again I doubt it will actually reveal anything, no one ever mentions the Niger uranium documents which we know came about because of the theft from the Niger embassy in Rome in the 2001 New Year, before Sept 11, before any public pronouncements about Iraq being a danger, but physical evidence is just a "conspiracy theory" these days, and the propaganda campaign against Iraq being modeled on Operation Canned Goods which was Nazi Germany's propaganda campaign against Poland to justify that invasion will definitely not be touched on.

Monday 16 November 2009 00:53am on 17 Nov 2009 What did I learn about Afghanistan, the reasons why we are invading Muslim countries, what will happen next and how we can stop Muslims wanting to attack us here from Newsnight tonight? Nothing. What did I learn about those questions from watching tonight's Dispatches regarding the influence of the Israeli lobby in British politics? Everything. While anyone who has been paying attention is aware of how vocal the Israeli lobby is, until tonight I had no idea how insidious and all pervading that influence was, not just in politics but at the Beeb as well. So from now on I'm just going to watch NN so I can dissect its propaganda Chomsky style, just so you BBC types know, war is NOT peace, freedom is NOT slavery and ignorance is NOT strength no matter how many times you repeat it, not even when it comes from Jeremy Paxman himself.

Of course anyone who has been over to Europe knows how far the Pound has already fallen, this is a very bad thing and if they continue down this road the destruction of the country is inevitable.

As for the Iranians, their elections are still less fraudulent than in Afghanistan and their Police torture is no different than anything the the Met does see here-

And the Iranians are certainly way behind the Americans and MI6 in torture, they don't even outsource it yet. Don't get me wrong, the Iranian regime are a nasty bunch, but in the end our own government and supposed law enforcement are no different, and in many cases much worse.

Wednesday 23 September 2009 10:26pm on 23 Sep 2009 Obama wants less nuclear proliferation? Perhaps he shouldn't destabilize countries with nuclear weapons like Pakistan and the USA then. In case anyone has missed the news Germany has started issuing debt in US dollars and more are soon to follow as many ready themselves for a dollar implosion, I wonder what does Obama really think will happen then? Does he think that his military will continue to keep the USAs 1600 warheads safe after the last MRE is gone? To remind everyone of a little history, when the USSR imploded the US stepped in with cash to ensure the security of the USSRs nukes, who will do that with the USA?
