Pirate Bay beached but not sunk 3:10pm on 17 Apr 2009 It's wrong to say that bittorrent should be banned as like said above that's like banning knives as some are used for crimes.

But this ruling is just like banning the argos catalogue as it contains knives that might not be used legally.

If you profit from sharing or selling other people's work ie. if you make people pay for downloads, or you convert their work into a physical cd/dvd then you should pay the creator.
Otherwise information should be free to pass around and convert to whatever format you like without having to have some government or overbearing record company looking over your shoulder and making you sign stuff and make you feel an outlaw if you do what they don't want.
What did you think of the show? (04/02/09) 7:22pm on 04 Feb 2009 hmm.. no comment about the Thatcher affair or Adrian insulting people's religion so far... I would have thought they'd get it over with at the top of the show... not normally one to dodge controversy.

Now I did say I wouldn't watch again but how could I not watchChristine.

But you have spoilt her beauty and the lovely snow pics people have been sending in, by being ugly behind the scenes. Please route out the evil within your midst to make all well again.

I thought you were real and nice people but twisting her words in a private conversation to get her ejected from the show is just nasty and seems spiteful for no reason - I don't want to watch such fake people as light entertainment.

Council housing: Should Right-to-Buy be scrapped? 7:08pm on 25 Nov 2008 If right-to-buy was suspended then the people that might have bought are unlikely to buy elsewhere, so it doesn't free up any more houses but just means that there are more old housing stock that the council has to maintain when they could have sold it on.
Points Of View Message Board 8:40pm on 14 Nov 2008 It's ok but it doesn't seem to have a unified netiquette so some people treat it like a newsgroup and others like a forum and others like a bbs/blog - someone will come on most days and either complain about topgear or that they haven't set up their TV right so can't hear the voices (which of course is the BBC's problem they say)

Others think that there should only be 1 thread for each programme (I don't agree)

I don't think it's about adding rules and restrictions, but a suggested guide and a FAQ wouldn't go amiss.
Choice 3:43pm on 30 Jun 2008 Of course there's no difference - that's why brown asks cameron so many questions at PMQs as he doesn't know what to do next himself.
... then they take the tory policy, water it down, gilt edge it, implement it badly, watch it fail and then blame the tories for coming up with the idea.

Choice in the NHS is good... yes, people want all hospitals to be good and don't want to always travel hundreds of miles to get treatment esp. if it's for something simple, but if I have something like cancer then tbh I wouldn't mind travelling around the world if it meant a better chance of survival - I want that choice and the information and advice to make that choice - not just be told where I'm going and if they have manipulated their stats well to hit abritary targets.
