Is the UK society 'increasingly fearful'?

Considering all the rejections that I get from BBC editors on Have Your Say, I can only conclude that the above is probably true. Yes, there's seems to be a lot of fear in Britain... and speaking candidly and forthrightly, speaking one's mind, even in a civil manner, is one of the casualties.

There needs to be some major changes with the editorial staff.

Frankly... I've had enough. This is my final posting (#3333) with the BBC. Good-bye!

A questioning climate 10:48am on 21 Feb 2009 The evidence for global climate change, especially global warming, is not entirely conclusive or complete... yet. However... the evidence IS overwhelming, and only a person with the mindset of a lemming would deny the phenomena.

Many of those lemmings (people who deny global climate changes) also fail to understand the difference between climate and weather.

Beware! Where there is no insight, the people perish.
Energy challenges for US 7:51pm on 23 Oct 2008 Susan Watts' article is rather upbeat... however it too convenient-lie ignores the biggest gorrilla in the room: the DOCTRINE OF PERPETUAL GROWTH of the global economy and the human population on Planet Earth, a host organism of FINITE space and FINITE resources.

So Sue. You don't yet see the big picture facing the very survival of humankind (a.k.a: ewe-man-unkind).

Amerikans are not particularly open to much beyond their profligate consumerism and their myopic kultural views. Indeed! It is often claimed by social critics that the Amerikan people (as-a-whole) are clueless and willfully ignorant... and they're damn proud of it too!

This would be like a gambling boozer helping an incompetent loser. Brown should he sacked. He's not working out. It's over for Wall $treet and for Brown.
Shock news 5:35pm on 09 Sep 2008 Yeah... Mr. Brown needs to re-think a lot of things. He can start with continuing Britain's unwise involvement with Amerika's bizarre and insane foreign policies... especially Britain's foolish support for Amerika's imperialistic, war-mongering hegemony in the Mideast. And do ewe folks really think that installing Amerikan "freedom missile" $ystems ninety miles from the Russian borders makes Europe (or the Russians) feel more secure? No need to comment about Amerika's invasion and occupation of Iraq-nam.

Obviously... the Russians are not to be completely trusted , but they seem to have basic common sense about the world... and after all they are Europe's resource rich neighbor. Come on! Be honest. Who was really the bad guy in Georgia? What happened on August 7th, the day BEFORE the Russians were compelled to take military action?

And then there's the problem of legal and illlegal immigration into Britain. Better rethink that Mr. Brown. Bad enough that recession (or much worse) is at hand, and that decent paying jobs for British citizens are getting scarce, but a nation that does not protect its borders, language and customs withers away into extinction. Better fix immigration... or there will be no England in fiftey years. Period!

I think Mr. Brown and his Labour collegues had better rethink a lot of things... or there will be rocks (or worse) flying in the streets to break those ubiquitous Orwellian cameras. And when I talk rock, I'm not talking about white collar criminals at Northern Rock fleecing mom an' pop taxpayers.

Meanwhile... over here across the pond... a lot of us are plotting to burn down the village in order to save it. Indeed! This was the ultimate lesson of the war profiteering $cam of Vietnam. The exact quote, as a matter of fact, was: "We had to burn down the village in order to save it." Beware! There is a rapidly growing segment of the U.$. population that wants an all out revolution... with guns blazing!

Perhaps Mr. Brown should think before he re-thinks.
Propaganda war escalates 2:44pm on 07 Sep 2008 The day after 9/11... our glorious (sic) leader, George W. Bush, got on the Amerikan boobtube and encouraged Amerikans to keep $hopping. The same media today says that Amerika's glorious (sic) invasions and occupations in Iraq-nam (and other places) is righteous... but when others do it (for whatever reason) it's evil. Orwell was way ahead of his time.
Separating fact from fiction 05:57am on 18 Aug 2008 The Bush regime has been provoking the Russians for a return to cold war tensions for several years. They seem to be succeeding in this regard. The Amerikans have quietly equipped the Georgian military and then encourged Georgia's President Saakashvili (and Amerikan $tooge) to send the Georgian military into South Ossetia. A lot of people were killed. Only then did the "evil Russians" (according to FOX newes) invade.

There is a fire in South Ossetia, but it was not the Russians who lit the match. Meanwhile... here at "home" CNN has seeded the airwaves with propagan-duh implying that Barack "Hussein" Obama is the anti-KKKrist and from one pundit, a "communist sympathizer." I can't believe how bizarre thing have become since George W. Bush was $ellected in 2000 (and re-$ellected) in 2004.

I shall leave you with this. Whom the gods would destroy, they first make mad. And there is much madness in Amerika. Europeans beware! The Russians are probably not to be completely trusted... but the Amerikans are totally INSANE.
US party season 9:43pm on 14 Aug 2008 I live in Flori-duh most of the time. I was here for the 2000 $ellection $cam... and also for the 2004 $ellections. The upcoming political conventions make good theatre for the $ake of political bread an' circus, but they are as meaningless as the Olympic game $cenario.

The capitalist/fascist plutocracy in $ewertown (Washington D.C.) and on Wall $treet will $not allow Barack "HUSSEIN" Obama to win. Old Coyote Knose that the electoral college $ystem is a $cam mechanism employed by the ruling class to thwart and/or manipulate the wishes of the majority (common folks)... and the soidisant "liberal media" in Amerika is owned by corp-rat elitists. Also... the glorious (sic) Zionist theocrazy of Israel is the tail that wags the dog in Amerikan politics. AIPAC doesn't want Mr. Obama in power; he might consider having a meaningful dialog with the Persians and the Palestinians.

If this brutal (but candid and factual perspective) is posted herein, it will be a miracle. Over the last two years of blogging on the BBC, I have learned that many of the BBC editors are cowardly and feckless... some of them almost as bad as the Amerikan propagan-duh $ystem. Thus... the truth be damned for the $ake of polit-call-lie correcktasss, and heaven forbid that any blogger dare criticize the apartheid racist tribe-all-eeego policies of Israel or the bizarre fascist insanity and hypo-crazy of the Bush regime.
To cover or not to cover 04:14am on 10 Aug 2008 The BBC need not give Amerikans more news coverage. The Amerikan news media, the alleged "free press," and especially right-$winging religious radio coverage, says that Barack "Hussein" Obama is (and I quote) a bi-sexual, commie Muslim atheist (and a devil worshipper) who wants to surrender to Osama bin Forgotten... and that he also hates children and Jeeezus. You think I'm exaggerating? Well... I am not! When you surf the radio dial here in Amerika... this is what you hear!

The Amerikan people are nothing more than clueless consumers. Most of them haven't any idea what's going on outside of Wal Mart, Jeeezus and pro-$ports... and the corp-rat owned Amerikan media is the reason.
