I am sure it will - eventually - but why is the weather site a special case for the beta treatment?

I don't recall the BBC running two sport sites or two news sites when they changed their layouts.

Your link above is not (IMO) to the BBC weather page - which I have always accessed as bbc.co.uk/weather.

Neither is it the site accessed via the widget/whatnot on the BBC homepage.

I don't find it instinctive to access the BBC Weather page as news.bbc.co.uk/weather

I want lossless audio, but I can't legally download it anywhere. The best quality seems to be 320kbps (more usually 256kbps) - vs average FLAC quality of 950kbps.

Lack of quality doesn't matter too much if you only listen to your music through a personal stereo, but it makes a big difference if you play it via your PC media centre on your 7.1 cinema surround system.
