Looking back on Obama's tour of Europe 7:11pm on 07 Apr 2009 So Obama accomplishes nothing on this farce of a trip except to grovel in front of the entire world - and the news media wants to call it a success?
Obama aftershocks 05:33am on 26 Nov 2008 "Substance"? Just what Obama are you referring to? He's a vacuous sound-bite wrapped in feel-good cliches. And the only "new ideas" he represents are isolationism and appeasement. Without the US, Europe will become a de facto client state of Russia overnight. Britain is alone in the world now.

Who do you think Neo-Soviet Russia was hoping would win? China, North Korea, Iran, Syria, Venezuela - the Taliban and Al Qaeda, Hezbollah and Al Sadr?

Do you think they're afraid of anyone except the US under George Bush? Do you think they are afraid of the party who wanted to Cut-n-Run from Iraq? (The party that wants to make sure that every American, British, and coalition soldier murdered there died for no reason.) From the party that talks about the principles that America and the West stand for, but isn't willing to fight for them - and is instead willing to let genocide, despotism, and terrorism have free reign? (Sound familiar? It's the mantra of the UN and Nato.)

Do you think that even our supposed "allies" on the continent in Europe are anything but overjoyed at the prospect of an America that they can manipulate both economically and politically? An America that is just as much in denial about the the post-9/11 world as they are?

Electing an African American or a woman could have signified the beginning of a new America. Instead it signifies the end. And there's no one to take our place.

But at least we in the US are still protected by two oceans. You're not.
Where's the 'real' John McCain? 6:37pm on 26 Oct 2008 Obama inspiring? He's a clown. At best he's Jimmy Carter in Black Face. But the US needs him right now. And in four years, if the US still exists in any meaningful way, the electorate will realize what a bankrupt philosophy Liberalism is.
Fast food nation 06:06am on 13 Oct 2008 What's amazing about Europeans (and I know it's an insult to lump the British in with them) is that they think we care. Europe is irrelevant and moribund. Europeans grew fat and lazy under US protection during the Cold War. They have no principles and are not even willing to fight for their own survival. Soon enough we'll be eating our hamburgers while watching Europe's cities burning on CNN.

Aside from Britain (a country I would never insult by grouping with it Europe), Europe grew fat and lazy under American protection during the Cold War. Today they kowtow to terrorists, turned their back on Iraq, make a pathetic token show of force in Afghanistan, and aren't even willing to stand up to Neo-Soviet Russia.

Remoulding Microsoft for the web 11:39am on 02 Aug 2008 We've known for 20 years that Microsoft needs to be 5 companies (Operating Systems and Applications need to be divorced).

They have done more damage to the state of personal computing through their monopolistic practices and manipulative software than is calculable.

And we've reached the end of the line. Personal computing cannot advance any farther until Microsoft is dealt with.

The real enemies are the sick liberal hypocrites like Hersh and Webb - who ignored the genocide of the Iraqis under Saddam and support the murder of our troops by terrorists today. When "the war" they've created gets here, the public will know who's responsible.

We'll make sure they know.
