This is a PR blunder by the Tories I reckon - its a pathetic video!! I can’t believe they have released this, what a joke!

I thought we’d have a juicy action-packed clip to get our teeth into but THIS! and a poorly delivered commentary from Dominic Grieve which was so boring I can remember nothing of it already!

It actually looks like hopeless party political opportunism, having a video camera hauled in.
Cameron's message 4:13pm on 01 Oct 2008 I wasn't persuaded by Cameron today. He repeated a lot of things he has said before and I'm worried that he's lurching back to what he really believes in - Daily Mail values.

I like him less after that.
Alistair Campbell has a go 4:49pm on 12 Jun 2008 Victoria I have a lot of time for you, in fact I have enough time to listen to most of your programmes but on this one you are simply wrong.

Campbell is obviously completely partisan but your assertion that it is 'the people out there' that determine the direction of media coverage is incorrect and you know it. The Westminster lobby (for very understandable reasons) chose which one or two issues to focus on at one time to the exclusion of other issues (often of more substance).

I for one wanted to listen to the PM's answers to the questions on other questions (and of course that a greater diversity of questions were put by the lobby).

Granted the papers (Indy and Telegraph in particular) have tried to present this as a loss, but they're the best headlines he's had since last october.

I too have watched the video and Nick's post is 100% justified - it seemed a relatively constructive meeting but really nothing very new and certainly pretty uncontroversial.

Please stop posting this partisan rubbish, there is plenty of space on less respected blogs for that.
