This completely ignores the ex-Labour voters who come to their senses.

Many of them were honourable men.

However, the death of a high-level politician is a political occasion.

Were Scotland to become independent, it would be the Union of Parliaments which would no longer exist.

This does NOT mean or imply the Union of the Crowns would cease to exist.

Unfortunately, the term UK is frequently used to to mean the political union, often by people who should know better.

Is this akin to minority goverment?

As I understand it, the SNP continue to want the break-up of the Union (Union of Parliaments) but continue to be AGAINST the break-up of the UK (the Union of the Crowns).

This has been the case since I first joined them, in the last century.
