Although of late apart from those jogging suits he has looked better

Touching a nerve 07:50am on 19 May 2009 Metsfan, your initial persuasive comments are totally lost when you resort to stereotypical comments and seem to fix your anger at Labour women in particular.I suppose that is a reflection of your party's attitude to women in general.
You have one female AM and no women MPs representing seats in Wales.I actually think that the lack of commitment to devolution and the split in your Assembly group is much more of a problem for you, when it comes to Europe.
I also think, that the way the role of MEPs is focused at the moment makes demographics a non issue, but the perception of the voters to candidates not living in the country they seek to represent, is very powerful.

It was witty and well written.
I think to be sacked is crazy, they should have promoted him and given him the job of promoting the Government, it would have appealed to a lot more people.

I am from a part of Wales where English is the first language of use, I do not berate any one who speaks Welsh I envy their bi-ligualism. Although I do speak French.
Its true that the lanuage in North Wales is the domain of ordinary people, but then arent the crach in the south mostly from ordinary parentage.
Celebrate those who can siarad Cymraeg, but those who can ,please do not judge those of us who cannot too harshly

May be Elfyn Llwyd only does North Wales events.Ive never seen him in the South ,unlike Dafydd Iwan who is frequently around even in the Valleys

I will be interested to see who the lay members will be Rhodri wanted them from the "clattering" classes or from those that supported Joe Calzaggi, did he mean Tom Jones or Catherine Zeta Jones
