Will you ask Iain Gray if he unequivocally agrees with Gordon Brown that it would have been wrong for al Megrahi to die in jail?

The scunner factor 10:43am on 09 Jun 2009 This is good news for Scotland and the UK, I have never voted Labour and I will never consider voting for them until Scotland is either Independent or the UK is a federal state. A day when Scotland has as much freedom to raise and spend tax money as the Isle of Man.
Courageous stuff 12:02pm on 24 Apr 2009 Oh come of it Brian even this entry to your blog is so biased it makes me embarresed for you.
I have just finished reading Nelson Mandela`s book a long walk to freedom ,in his book he talks about the role the media played in discrediting him and the ANC,he says that he would read newspapers from different regions of South Africa not just for the news as untruthfull as it was but to learn what type of people read these newspapers and how best to counter the lies put out by these biased media outlets.
So just like the lies put out by the British Government through the media from the days of the the Indian Raj, the Boars,The Russians,The American Revolution ,etc etc today we have the fifth estate in Scotland which includes the BBC which are sitting with there heads in the sand while a Scot Gordon Brown does his best to strip his own country men and women of any aspiration and desire of a better life for themselves and there country.We have had over 300 years of the Union with England and its time is now up,whether it has been a Conservative or Labour Government at Westminster they have both taken the UK and Scotland to the point of being bust. Wasted our natural resources our young mens lifes ,Brian yourself and the BBC in Scotland are allowing us to be treated as fools by Westminster get out of the BBC village and see what damage Gordon Brown and his Scottish Labour collegues are doing to Scotland,and tell it as it is .

It's not easy being Green 1:49pm on 04 Feb 2009 Im afraid I have no sympathy for the Greens , idology got in the way of good politics. And I hope that the SNP do no let there independence goal get in the way of good political compromise ,I would rather Holyrood have more control over Scotlands affairs by the SNP working with the Lib Dems than Scotland being stuck on the roundabout Labour had planned for us.
A wee note of well done to the Conservatives cant vote for you yet (to tied to Westminster) but well done .
Budgeting for votes 1:12pm on 03 Feb 2009 Iam pleased to see the Lib dems showing a little bit of common sense,hopefully a sign of things to come ? in my book the Lib dems have more in common with the SNP than they did with Labour by all means oppose the Government in power but please be sensible for the good of Scotland.

I would advize checking up on the Confederation /Federal goverment in Canada and you will see that the provinces are very independent of federal government. There ability to raise and lower taxes,firearm laws,language,traffic, broadcasting etc are all independent of the federal goverment in Ottawa , Strathclyde council it aint .But back to the UK we are members of the EU international agreements bind us to EU law and whether you or I like it superseeds Scottish and English law .
