Fewer votes for BNP 5:24pm on 08 Jun 2009 The suggestion by most BBC commentators that people who voted BNP didnt know what they were voting for is ludicrous of course they did.They were voting for a stop to the immigration policy allowed by NuLabour over the past decade and the associated benefits handed out "willy nilly" to people arriving on these shores from countries that in the past had no allegiance to the United Kingsdom.
All this happened under Browns watch but the blame by the BBC seems to have been shifted onto the electorate that turned out in their thousands across the country to vote for the BNP rather than Borwn and his Labour government.The BNP might have had a small reduction overall in its vote since 2004 but it is the Labour parties dismal showing based on the fact that their supporters have had enough and stayed away rather than a huge increase in popularity for the BNP.
Brown may be superglued to his seat in Downing Street by Mandy and his other sycophants but if they dont get him off the chair soon, then they will be all be thrown out by the seat of their pants by next June if they leave it that long.

What do you think of the show? (06/02/09) 11:01am on 07 Feb 2009 I am not going to watch your show anymore and that is a decison made as a result of your treatment of Carol Thatcher.
It is nonsense that a comment made off air and using a pictorial expression to describe someone has been used as an excuse to get rid of her.
The BBC is now like the thought police and the quicker that the someone gest rid of it by privatising it and stopping them relying on the yearly tax that is know the licence fee the better.
I have written to my local MP who happens to be Tory and I hope that when they get elected the privatisation of the BBC will be close to the top of their agenda.
After this and the Ross incident I will be pushing hard for it as will be a number of my friends and family.
Good riddance to bad rubbish....( if I'm allowd to use that term in BBC circles nowadays..)

2008: The Brown rollercoaster 9:52pm on 19 Dec 2008 He may be sounding like a war leader but its the electorate who will decide what happens once he calls the date.
We will all be wearing our tin hats in the meantime to protect ourselves from the fall out of 11 years of poor financial management by this man and the quicker he goes the better.
Everything he does goes wrong and the latest 16 billion pound PSBR deficit this month clearly demonstrates how grim it has got.
We could all see a deficit of £150 billion next year and a request by the IMF to bail us out.
As Osborne recently said Labour always messes up in the end but this time Brown has excelled in his mess up and it will take a determined Conservative Chancellor years to get us back on the straight and narrow.

Lets hope that the opinion polls trick him into going early so that he cannot do much mor damage.

Why punish savers? 10:40am on 04 Dec 2008 I,m moving my cash abroad as the high rate fixed bonds expire oever the next few years.Why should I prop up Browns mismanagement of the economy and the people who didnt bother to save when times were good.
No wonder there has been a huge exit of deposit money over the past 8 weeks many people like me must be trying to find a better home for their hard earnt and saved cash than the UK.
If Brown isnt careful he wil find that and a huge exit from savings and the destruction of sterling will ensure that his already mismanagement of our economy will be worse than he imagines.
Serious questions to answer 11:56pm on 03 Dec 2008 As I said on your blog the other day Nick the police should have arranged a search warrant and then they would have had to submit their reasons to a magistrate.

Why the speaker thinks that a high court judge is required I dont know. I can tell you that the police have to give good reasons for a warrant and I doubt whether the source of the information placed and the reasons would have stood up to scrutiny.
In retreat 12:49pm on 02 Dec 2008 The right procedure should have been to ask a magistrate to sign a search warrant.That would have been interesting I doubt if many magistrates would have found compelling enough reasons to allow it without full disclosure and then that would have made iot even m,ore doubtful.
The right course shpuld have been to invire Green to a plice station to put the points to him and then if they were not satisfied then arrest him and get a search warrant if they still felt it justifiable.
This heavy handed approach does not leave the police in avery good light and makse the charge of a political move more plausible.
The truth will out in the end so Smith and Martin should get it out quickly before it does any more damage to the useless shower.
Meet the Home Office mole 5:33pm on 01 Dec 2008 At least we have a clear explanation of what went on which is more than Gordon Brown who was leaking material in the 80's and 90's .Perhaps the police should now go back and investigate his crimes for that time bearing in mind that there is an admission of guilt openly made to Frank Bough in a tv interview.
At least if they put Brown away for a while he couldnt do any more damage to this country.
Irresponsible or prudent? 8:06pm on 24 Nov 2008 Well done labour on own goal again and this time even by their figures its going to take 7 years just to get back to this position.
In other words by 2015 we we just be back to this mess again.
And that is if his figures are right and so far since 2002 none of his borrowing figures have been right so why should we think this set are going to be any different.
It will take a determined Tory Chancellor to get us back on track and once again when they do the Tories will be blamed for being mean hearted.
Well bring them on we need someone to sort out this mess and labour will never do it.

Giant borrowing payback looms 7:08pm on 23 Nov 2008 The main plan of his recovery plan according to the pundits seesm to be a 2.5% reduction in VAT.
Does he seriously think that this is going to entice shoppers into the High Street.My wife isnt interested in buying these days unless there is a reduction of at least 25% so even the Marks and Spencers sale of 20% didnt shift her last week.
Your BBC news today says you can get nearly £500 off a Mondeo.So what dealers are already offering nearly 10 times that amount and they cant get people to buy.
This plan is already bound to fail as it not addressing the problem.That is to save jobs in small businesses and getting the banks to lend again.
Until he does that nothing is going to move and in the meantime his drop of 2.5% in VAT will be wiped out by the goods that are imported and priced in dollars going up as the pound weakens further as the market looses faith in Labour and is failed policies..
