Decisions, what decisions? like wrecking the economy, the Union, and our credibility as a nation. You've got to be joking. There's only one decision I'm waiting for from Gordon; I'll give you a clue, he very nearly plucked up enough courage to make it back in the autumn of last year!

The next prime minister? 11:09am on 27 Jun 2008 All the very best leaders first learn their trade by learning to be good followers. That way they learn the truth of what it is like to be a follower, and crucially, what it is that motivates people to become followers.
Unfortunately Gordon does'nt seem to have got it.
All of those he inherited a year ago have rumbled him. The only ones who are still following are there with the hope of picking over whatever remains when he finally goes.
The difference of a year 6:28pm on 23 Jun 2008 Gordon's latest idea to get the Saudi's to sign up to selling their oil below market price, and using their reduced revenues to build our new power stations, so that we will then need even less of their oil in future; must be a very challenging proposal for the Saudi's. The rest of the developed world must be waiting with bated breath for their decision.
I'm not sure who advised Gordon on this masterpiece of economics, but it sounds very much like Balls to me. New Chancellor? new Chancer more like!

By-election reactions 2:07pm on 24 May 2008 I rather like GB's logic in blaming OPEC for the price of Oil, and his request for them to let him dictate their production and marketing strategy. Perhaps he might like to ask Peter Mandelson to offer OPEC a reciprocal arrangement with the European aerospace industry as a gesture of unity and goodwill.
By-election reactions 9:30pm on 23 May 2008 I wonder what New Labour think of Tony Blair's "Clunking Fist" comment now? Perhaps Gordon can tell us what it feels like!
