Nicest people in sport - My Top 20 12:48pm on 18 Nov 2009 For nicest sporting bloke, dare I suggest Stefan Edberg? He was well known in his playing heyday for always winning the award for most sporting player in tennis.

How important are big sports events to a country's identity? 4:59pm on 16 Nov 2009 I'm an ordinary person, living in Somerset. I think having the Olympics coming to London is fantastically exciting, regardless of whether I get to attend any event in person, although I have registered to be a volunteer. I think they're worth whatever the final cost turns out to be, because they give everyone something special to remember, whatever their favourite sport - or even if they don't like any.

TMS has a wizard time in Ashes finale 12:31pm on 24 Aug 2009 When Freddie got Ricky out, I was in an online chat with some friends, including an Aussie, who has threatened to send me redback spiders in retaliation for our win! *g*
Body of evidence 12:22pm on 07 Jul 2009 One thing I do commend the BBC Sport website on is the number of women covering the various sports, such as Caroline Cheese and Sarah Holt. They are not limited to so-called female sports, but also cover F1 and football etc. Others could follow that example.
England confirm their champion status 2:12pm on 22 Jun 2009 I'm thrilled by our women's win, it was fantastic! I cried at the end.

Are you an Office Evangelist? 8:41pm on 13 Mar 2009 My favourite show no one else I know in person watches is on another channel, so I probably shouldn't mention it! Fortunately, thanks to the power of social networking, I have friends and fellow fans around the world who do watch it, that I can share the enjoyment with, which helps ease the pain of blank looks when people ask about the picture of the lead actor on my desk!
Review of the week 4:23pm on 08 Jul 2008 I am *so* glad I'm not the only one who thought Ms. Stefani looked thoroughly fed up with the whole thing, unlike her husband.

And I definitely prefer Rafa's so-called piratical look over Roger's cardy. The fashion police had to have been working overtime this year!
