What we have had for a great number of years, both in the financial sector and within the Treasury have been off balance sheet figures that have been buried. This accounting method has been used to fiddle tax returns from all and sundry, and Whitehall have been complicit in all the action and inaction for years.

I have asked you and many more within the media to have surgically removed your rose coloured glasses before you fall, it can as big a hole as the McCrone Report and with big spikes at the bottom as many will see come the next General election.

I do believe that the figure of 12% has been bandied about, regarding the interest rates on the loans from you and me to the banks.

But you can be assured that 10% will be lost in the accounting as long as the mandarins’ in the treasury are involved.
Still it would appear that either the politicians or these same mandarins’ are now struggling with the possible illegality of their quick draw approach that they first mooted.

Interesting times, what with a by-election on Thursday, could be life will begin again around 2-30 am on Friday when the results are declared, and with no Alexander involvement they could be on time.

As a result HBOS shares and Lloyds TSB shares are beginning to reflect that something is ongoing.

Down to earth 4:55pm on 29 Sep 2008 Oh! What a web of deceits we tend to weave; the Tory’s just like New Labour do want us to believe that they have the electorates’ wishes in mind.
Was it not on their watch that the Lloyds, TSB, debacle was implemented under their ever so watchful eyes.
They have much to consider it was them that allowed GEC to become the conglomerate that it became, then it was again on their watch that allowed Lloyds along with a group of like minded persons attempted to short sell that same company.
That cost Lloyds some £500 million of a cash mountain out of their coffers, still the Tory’s put through a bill to allow that merger to take place.

How to build on the Great Haul of China 11:05am on 25 Aug 2008 I find it interesting some of the contributors appear to have missed the point; we have been employing some of the best coaches in the world to produce our elite athletes.

The games are over and in the next few weeks some of these coaches are to be approached by other countries and let’s be honest bought to shift to them.

In the GB we have not been very good at training coaches, we keep shifting the goal posts as to standards, and generally pussy footing around.

We now have the opportunity to get our act together in the next 6 months, yes that’s the timescale. Not as is being looked at by the blazer-arty who want to re-assess every 12 months leading up to 2012.

To bring on the elite athletes in this country we require stability within the lead coaches, we require coaches at club level, at county and regional levels to find the potential at grass roots that’s where it has to start.

In order to employ these coaches effectively we require facilities and we require them now, the amount of medals won at these Olympic Games is strictly related to the facilities legacy from the Manchester Commonwealth Games and the World Student Games held in Sheffield.

If Jackie Baillie is an MSP then she appears to be failing in her position as a representative of the people she is supposed to represent.
Likewise had she been providing goods and services and collection income revenue from the taxes that those people she represents, she is not fit for purpose.

The Vale has a record of failure second to none, the Health Board likewise all the shouting and bawling from MSP’s is of no doubt in my mind a cover for their inadequacies in the past.
