Jade Goody's death 08:23am on 24 Mar 2009 Most of the complaints were probably from the chattering classes who probably don't appreciate that millions of people are interested in Jade.

Does the north need the Royal Opera House? 6:23pm on 12 Mar 2009 Erm... Manchester already has an opera house. It's called the Manchester Opera House. Although I will concede that they don't appear to stage operas there anymore (if their listings guide is anything to do by!).

How do Opera North feel about all of this?
Introducing the new mobile homepage beta 07:52am on 12 Mar 2009 *Please* add World Service listings. Thanks to it being on Radio 4 overnight, it's available on more platforms in the UK than BBC 7 and 1Xtra, but woefully overlooked on the mobile site.
BBC News and disabled audiences 6:06pm on 19 Feb 2009 I can't even comprehend how people can think that this is "political correctness gone mad". It must have been a very slow news day for those media outlets for took umbrage at it.
