don't really like the video though. it looks really dated (claymation isnt done all that well and isnt integrated with the live action that well), and the 'paolo' in it doesnt really act like paolo. it portrays him as a sex pest?! never met the bloke, but it just seems a bit silly.....

great song though! should imagine mr nutuni is more of an album seller than a single seller though...

Backstreet Boys - Straight Through My Heart 9:52pm on 04 Oct 2009 hmmm, yes, as a fellow BSB obsessive who's obsession with never die, i too agree that BSB's album is not going to lighting any charts on fire. Die hard fans will buy it, but possibly thats it unfort.

I was listening to the whole album streaming on a website, and i think it is probably the best song the album, I do like it, and did when i first heard it, but its nothing ground breaking. They say they do 'pop r'n'b' but bless them, i dont think that's ever been true.... Unfort. their most popular songs are usually ballads and i dont think theres a 'shape of my heart' or 'incomplete' on here...

and yeah the vid director has been wathcing too much Blade.

i'll prob buy the album because its BSB, not cos i love it...

clearly, Kevin was the best (as he was) and that's why things havnt been the same :P :P
Lady GaGa - 'Lovegame' 11:20pm on 20 Sep 2009 Imogen heap is pretty good, but i wouldnt put her in the same genre as Gaga - Imogen has some credibility at least!

Anyone seeing p!nk will not be disspointed! I've seen her once this year already, going back for 2 more shows in December. Everyone I know who's seen her have been totally blown away - in my opinion of the best pop acts of the 00's - but flying under the radar and not given the respect she deserves! (i.e. this is her 1st headlining tour in the USA... after 9 years!) A spectale of a show - and no lip syncing¬!

Madonna - i wouldnt go and see her if you paid me... I like her old stuff but she is so old news now... totally over rated and totally believe her own hype in my opinion. needs to stop dancing around in her pants. I appreicate her influence on popular music and she gets cred from me for that.. but don't understand her newer stuff... but credit for the Mj tribute words

Rhianna i've heard is not great live - vocal wise esp.

britney would be fun for a bit of cheesy fun, but not at the ticket prices, maybe for free...

and gaga... well... sorry thespiritwarrior - i think she challenges how *person* should behave... she's a performer, she's not a singer. I think she should stick to her writing and producing. I also saw a clip of a show on music television and she came across as very arrogant about her music - about how her lyrics were "so smart" and she's not a bimbo etc etc. I think she protests too much.... if you're good, you don't need to labour the point love...
Lady GaGa - 'Lovegame' 3:14pm on 18 Sep 2009 wouldn't have minded if beyonce video had been anything *near* the 'greatest video of all time' - it's boring!!! kind of disrepectful to MJ to even compare to some of his vids...

as for GaGa - dispise her, think she is hideous. over rated. others do electro pop kind of vibe alot better. one of them being robyn. I know gaga writes and produces her own stuff, and well done for that, but i still think its over rated and there is far better out there. Not a huge gwen stefani fan, but think she makes better electronic pop/dance

if you're talking about examples for women.. there are far better examples... p!nk for one (i'd say rihanna takes alot of her look from pink (theres a whole thread about it on p!nk forums - not in a 'hating' way) think she admires pink) and still p!nk gets ignored by the US for a long time... robyn again for another (told her record comapny to get stuffed, despite being successful with them to be able to do the music she wanted)

If gaga is designing things to appeal to lesbians then she's failed, where i'm concerned anyway.. i think she's vile. she looked alot better before she was famous with dark hair and not 4 inches of make up. she looks waaaaaaaaay older than she is, like mutton dressed as lamb.

i personally don't think she any kind of thing to look up to and also portays a very fake and manufactured look of what is 'supposed' to be attractive.
Peter Andre - 'Behind Closed Doors' 2:03pm on 17 Aug 2009 Nah, 'Flava' wasnt on the montell inspired album, t'was the album before. 'All About Us' was the main montell track. 'Flava' sounded more like backstreet boys to me to be honest.....

This is how we do it by Montell Jordan is a great song! ( i think it's the slick rick sample that does it) I still love it, his albums are a bit hit and miss (esp the god songs...) but he'll always hold a place in my record collection. When I saw him live he was supported by Ultimate Kaos! haha. and Coolio turned up after heading over from recording Top Of The Pops. i'll never forgive my dad for not letting me pay £10 to meet an greet with Montell because we had to get up early the next day :-( Peter was also seeing Kim, one of Montell's dancers for a while.

Montell is on twitter too if you fancy following him, he seems to be doing a lot of 'old school' shows in the states with people like keith sweat etc.

i dont know exactly how involved fugees and brian mcknight were with the album, but i dont think it was quite rent a song like Diane warren. oh actually, after some research, 'letting you go' was co written by diane and brian... i thought it was a pretty decent album at the time. I wasnt a swooning peter fan, i bought it due to who worked on it and i thought it was pretty good stuff.

i watched a programme about diane warren once, and considering the kind of solitary life she leads, its amazing how she churns out all these songs, mostly about love, with a large proportion of them being hits and/or great songs. pretty amazing, i'd love to meet her.
Peter Andre - 'Behind Closed Doors' 1:49pm on 14 Aug 2009 Montell Jordan - this is how we do it - one hit wonder really, but i loved him when i was younger, and carried on buying albums, was one of the first concerts i went to! brian mcknight and fugees also worked on that album.

and yeah, i think diane warren is amazingly talented, but her songs to vary from fantastic to utter cheese fest, and are also dependent on who sings them.

ah google search tells me that 'letting you go' on that album was one of dianes.

Peter Andre - 'Behind Closed Doors' 1:21pm on 14 Aug 2009 MozFoz - interesting that you mention diane warren eh - i'm pretty sure he sung a diane warren song on 2nd album (or was it 3rd...) - and yes, i will admit to owning it. I was (am) a big montell jordan fan and he produced stuff on that album and i quite liked it.....
