Will T'Orange be good for shoppers? 7:51pm on 09 Sep 2009 What does this new amalgamation mean for shoppers? an interesting step forward to a future of new products from various companies complementing each other. How?

Well first companies like Twinings can create Orange Tea for the Sales demo meetings.

Companies producing sports equipment for golfers will have the latest Orange Tee.

I do question the invention of the logo name of the new company for surely if you put the T before the Orange it doesn't mix very well. Should you write T Orange and don't get the gap correct you could end up with TO range, and the Home service.

Of course in the event of a double name for the logo, to avoid any upset about one company's name taking place at the front, and the other having to go second - a totally new name shared by both in the language may have a happier business future for life.

Now there's a competition for the company's to promote with interest, if you consider that to be a good idea. How about 'RingIn' for starters.
What have the noughties done for God? 3:00pm on 10 Aug 2009 Surely nought is impossible with God, if only to write the name down.

The Noughties and Naughties are all in all Holy Scripts of Religion of one kind or another, since the beginning of time, along with all the things that happen as a result of them.

With regard to the judgement of someone who says that they are an atheist - Read the Biblical book of Job, don't underestimate anyone - they may be doing God's work just testing your opinions and faith, so judge that ye be not judged in that instance.

All people are on the learning curve of life from birth to the next life/lives, and we are all standing at different places on that path in the circle of life and time never ending.

Everyone realises the truth at some stage on life's journey - What's yours?

From unthinkable to unavoidable 05:45am on 13 May 2009 Surely, one of the perks of those in Government who devise, write and pass all the 'rules' in the House of Commons and Parliament is that they have the ability to write them all to their own advantage first.

With regard to your opening sentence of this article I believe that the saying goes, "Don't believe second hand information".

As a good BBC presenter once said on air, "It seems that the lies have all got round before the truth got a chance to get its boots on".

So many people have so many opinions that no one knows what to think about anything anymore, and the whole global scene just looks like one big mass struggle to survive from an individual level to the majority groups to the globe itself.

Life is difficult enough just trying to survive in a healthy enough condition to work and look after people let alone enter the concept of actually making any money at it all.
What spending would you cut? 2:15pm on 27 Apr 2009 The term 'cutting spending' may be more attract more interest and a more positive debate if it were termed ' Prioritising and Balancing Spending'.

By accentuating the need to 'cut spending' the Government or Local Authorities here have already chosen to spend a few million on rebuilding the local train station which takes commuters into the 2nd largest city in the country along the steepest incline - yet - have reduced and stopped buses in the area so that people cannot reach the destinations that they need to in order to use the facilities that millions have been spent on to date.

Today's example from an interview with a bus driver at 07.00 hrs this morning is that all pensioners will now not be able to use their 'free' bus passes before 09.30hrs countrywide. Anyone who wishes to get to the swimming baths to ease Arthritis with the new 'free' pass there now cannot get there until the morning session closes. On Friday last, I found that I could travel to the local facilities to improve my health to start the day, only to find that the No 64 bus back again had been completely stopped and no buses ran for the 3/4 hour, leaving the walk home uphill faster than waiting at a bus stop.

The new train station proposed closed down because trains did not stop as there were no passengers to pick up. That's because there was no public transport to the station in the first place~ and anyone who left a car there was vulnerable to theives before they got back again at night.

To conclude then - Spending and Saving need to be balanced to the needs of the people who are helping to keep the economy going by their work hours whether they are pensioners or not and they all need to be geared to being healthy and working towards that to be of any use at all.

My question to the present and any potential future government is 'What are your priorities in aiming to get the right balance of necessary provisions for the population with the minimal financial output?

The average MP has an allowance of £7000 in personal expenses per annum.
The average pensioner who has worked all his life and lost funds through no fault of his/her own is coping on a yearly income of approximately £6000 per annum.

Surely that will make the debators think and get the priorities right.
Monday's Quote of the Day 1:49pm on 27 Apr 2009 Well, well, well, I got on the tube today for the first time this year - and it fitted very well!

Having only cost £5 from a well known supermarket - I am now ready to do some good decent sunbathing without straps leaving tram lines in what would be a perfect tan.

Happy travelling on your way to your holiday destinations after all the work has been done to earn one a holiday in some sunshine somewhere, someday, God willing.

As for the tube - very comfy and not for turning.
Monday. Chicago O'Hare 02:19am on 14 Apr 2009 With relation to the word 'Hare', I wasn't aware that Chicago had ever had a problem with the population of this little, fast, big- eared furry animal.

The name O'Hare actually derives from the employment status of those responsible for clearing the farmer's land of them on this side of the Atlantic to protect the crops. Further employment in looking after them for their use in Greyhound racing and coursing followed before they deemed this to be cruel and used a cuddly toy variety instead.

Did the airport aquire the name from the man who was intitially in charge of it? Chicago Airport that is, of course.
Causing offence by accident 3:55pm on 11 Mar 2009 Everyone is on a 'learning curve' in life as in a graph.
During a lifetime everyone offends accidentally when they are ignorant of the other persons experiences in life which if dealt with correctly by an apology at the time with an explanation in empathy will result in understanding and no offence at all.
Deliberate offence is totally different and that is seen when the person who has offended someone finds it all amusing when the offence is not pardoned and a spiral of action takes place until it is understood and apologised for or the offended person remunerated and has forgiven.
On the global scene, no one can know everyone else's history of happiness, grief, trauma, loss that has made them the person that they are. Consequently, any inaccurate information given about anyone has pandemic response by those who hear and see it which results in action which can not only affect the person but also everyone around and associated with that person to the detriment of their life and work life, status and reputation.
A reputation takes years to build up with long hard acheivement and a person is usually either trying to amend their mistakes that they have learnt from and naturally aims to please if they have any ambition to do well in life.
No matter how good a person's reputation was in the past for whatever successes it is all lost in a minute with the production of a newspaper or programme and a totally unbalanced view of that person and associates is formed.
People only know what they know and not what they don't know so they only concentrate on what gets their attention in line with their beliefs and standards. This is where complete misunderstandings arise with the viewer or reader suddenly thinking that they know all about it and liable and slander happen at a local from national level.
More research by journalists and researchers is needed before some picture and story is sent for a deadline and on a daily basis there is not time to research a person's life history and sometimes even the facts are not checked out.
Money has taken priority over people!
For every joke there is a sufferer and even though what may be a simple picture of a 'nobody' seems like an editors idea of appropriateness can and frequently does have fatal consequences in the vulnerable especially if they are already stressed for some reason. Just a simple mistake can be taken as a personal offence and needs to be put right immediately if possible, or within a very short time so that offence does not spiral out of control.
One generally finds in this world that the ones who have been offended the worst are the very people who do not offend anyone else because they know what it feels like and they wouldn't wish that on anyone as the pain is shared.
Hence one learns along that long long learning curve of life - Hopefully sooner rather than later.
What's the big deal with The Victorians all of a sudden ? Couldn't move for them at the weekend. 08:24am on 10 Mar 2009 AH Awake the goodness of the morning, complete with showers inside and out.

I reckon the Victorians are playing an important role to highlight how we may all have to live in the future should the computer not be available for any reason!

Personally I would adore wearing those gorgeous dresses without all the bone constrictions beneath.

The hairdoes are wonderful to look at but having had enough trouble with the Dusty Springfield look in the 60's along with the wasps in thinking it was their hive in the summer - maybe the Woodstock look is somewhat preferable, as the latter keeps the flies off.

Got so much to do today that I didn't acheive last week I haven't got time to listen to the radio, sorry.

You know it's going to be a good day when... 'you wake up feeling healthy and want to open the new double glazed window knowing that you haven't overslept till dinnertime!'.
