Cameron the Heathite? 8:13pm on 22 Oct 2009 The Royal Mail is in a disasterous state. I don't trust it at all. It's a real shame. The zeitgeist has moved with regard to holding on to it as a nationalised entity. These strikes are an insult to the rest of us taking cuts and workig harder. The Royal Mail deliveries get later and later and often I get most of my neighbours mail and never see my own. It's a shambles.

Sell it off to be made more efficient. With the proliferation of broadband most mailed items can now be tranfered electronically or by private courier.
Is all publicity good publicity? 09:02am on 21 Oct 2009 We live in a democracy and if we are true to that then they have a voice and if people vote for that voice then they have the keys to power. The Government is in disarray over every aspect of governing and driving voters away in every direction. Personally I can't stand the BNP but have heard middle class people express more than toleration of their ideas and rhetoric. The more airtime they have the more slicker they will become and the more their message will be honed to suit the electorate. Recent exposure have shown they're a way off that though.

A general election now would end all this and give us a new start. The BNP would recede back into obscurity until the next depression and the countries mood would lift.
BNP's 'hang generals' just 'humour' 11:17pm on 20 Oct 2009 They just sound like thugs to me. I wouldn't vote for them. There is a veil of violence beneath the weird bitter rhetoric. I suppose as long as they exist then we can treat them with derision and as the distasteful spectacle they are.

Anyone who in this country and in this day and age references Nazi's and Nuremberg trials lacks any real perspective. Why can Griffin not present his arguments in clear coherent English? I think it is likely that he does not possess the intelligence or really care about the development of civilisation. Instead he wants to incite racial, nationalistic, homophobic and whatever else he can, hatred.

Every time his veneer thins we see the Francis Baconesque savage that lies beneath. Lets hope this country can sort out its problems swiftly after the next general election and put these clowns in the shadows again for as long as possible.

Now all Brown has to do is get a little office on the world stage and cream off a few million to feel vindicated.

Pay later? 4:08pm on 10 Sep 2009 The fact that any one in the current government can conceive of an election win for their party means they are not sound of mind and should be removed from positions of responsibility. I believe Mugabe is recruiting "Blue Sky Thinkers" I'm sure Cardinal Mandelson & Private Broon will be eligible to sit on one of his committees for stealth and dilusionment.
Tories' open talk of Afghan elections 09:41am on 09 Sep 2009 War in Afghanistan against local people is a folly that arises every hundred years or so. Each time we get beaten back and many are slain on both sides. There does seem to be a point in fighting the roots of terrorism and stopping vast heroin production but is this approach the best and most assured?

If the elections are rigged, does it matter? It is still a preferable buffer to the Taliban who are an openly corrupt vicious cartel.
What the PM did and did not say 1:20pm on 02 Sep 2009 He didn't say it before because he's only just thought of it. Another back-track from the back-track master. He is an inept laughing stock and so are we for not more vehemently demanding an election.

Getting rid of Gordon Brown & new Labour is of the utmost significance to the well being of the United Kingdom.
