Adebayor madness mars Man City win 4:21pm on 15 Sep 2009 ADEBAYOR IS MY HERO. Arsenal are fast becoming a forgotten team in my heart. If the situation does not change its looking like Chelsea or Spuds for a London team to support.

Adebayor can be fined £1bn,banned for 1 year or any nonsense action taken by the racist old farts at the FA. The history books will show Arsenal where comprehensively beaten 4-2 by a better Man City team and oh Adebayor scored against his former team to COMPLETE ARSENAL'S HUMILIATION!!!!

Instead of using Adebayor as an excuse for our gross ineptitude we should look at our manager and mediocre players. If I was Adebayor if he gets any ban more than 2-3 games he should seek legal action. Under the rules unless they now changed it because of Adebayor which in my oipinion will be nothing less that OUTRIGHT RACISM...YES I SAID IT. Its two games for celebrating which in itself is a nonsense and as for the RVP incident, he was not booked surely the FA cannot now take further action.

The EPL has gone to the dogs, I am so glad I did not waste my hard erned money buying another useless season ticket. I hop ein the return leg at the Emirates he scores a hatrick....yes this is coming from a gunners fan.

Fellow arsenal fans who where at the game hurling abuse, you got what you deserved. I have never understood the moronic mindset of most English football fans who pay money to abuse players. How dumb is that. Watch it on cable, satellite,internet or if you are really hard up match of the day...LOL
Adebayor madness mars Man City win 10:20am on 14 Sep 2009 This is a very stupid article Phil Mcnulty, your worst ever. If stupid arsenal fans cannot control their rage that is theit problem. What is wrong in celebrating in front of opposing fans. I am an arsenal fan ( not sure for how long )but throwing object sunto the pitch was just stupid. If you take away insults and players celebrating in front of away fans you take away the athmosphere of football matches. Fans no matter how much they pay mus realise that if you can dish out abuse you should expect to get it. The FA can do what they like players will still celebrate infront of opposing fans. A for the challenge on RVP tat was not intentional, and I am appalled at RVP post match statement. Arsenal need to do some soul searching, with the way they are going they willbe lucky to make 4th place. Well done Adebayor you showed Arsenal what they are missing. Talk about being skinned twice in Manchseter in two weeks...sorry sorry arsenal. I hope the steward involved is ok.
Ghost of Owens inspires Bolt 1:24pm on 17 Aug 2009 God given talent yes but no matter the natural talent you have, you need to train hard and above all have or develop the mental toughness to win races. Bolt is just awesome and has a great personality to match. The scary thing about him is that I get the impression he just having fun and not pushing himself....incredible.

As for the sour grapes doubters thinking he is on drugs, keep dreaming and enjoy a living legend of sprinting. Looking forward to the 200m and relay.
Brilliant Barcelona outclass Man Utd 4:48pm on 28 May 2009 Phil I disagree with you. Rooney is NOT WORLD CLASS, he is a good player at best. World class players when things are not going well find something to lift their game, he is too one dimensional and is not a prolific scorer like Ronaldo and never will be. To many times Rooney has been found wanting. Even if he played in the middle it would have made no difference. Imagine Yaya Toure vs Rooney..no contest. Yaya would have had him for supper.

United where just outclassed simple. The way the English press keep going on about the first 10 minutes, that Barca where nervous is rubbish. Apart from the Park chance and Ronaldo's shot saved, I will not call long range efforts from Ronaldo as being under pressure. It amazes how losers look to clutch at straws. Incidentally Ronaldo was United best player, and tried his best but he cannot keep carrying this team. Man Utd fans be brutally honest with yourselves without Ronaldo for the past 3 years you will not have won as much or been on the fringes. If I where Ronaldo he has nothing more to prove he should leave Man Utd.

Xavi and Iniesta simply the best midfield partnership I have ever seen between two players. Eto as usual is a big time player his burst of speed and eye for a goal is awesome ( Rooney can learn alot from him,on how a centre forward should play ). I feel if he was fully fit the last two seasons Barca might have won more league and European cups.

Good to see Henry get the medal to complete his collection, he has a fantastic season for Barca.

Messi simply a genuis. His header was not as easy as it looked. Great player. Infact the whole Barca team where simply a joy to watch. Considering this team where missing Abidal, Alves and Marquez they still showed the world the Barca way of playing football.

Yesterday's humiliation of man utd by Barca reminded me of the football schooling Spain handed out to England the last time they played. Guess who the ring masters where Iniesta,Senna and Xavi!!!!!
Anderson provides midfield balance 09:56am on 26 May 2009 The fans on here sayingthe jury is out on Anderson clearly watch fotball with their eyes closed. His lack of scoring is a non-issue. When Claude Makelele the best defensive mildfielder the world has ever seen played he hardly scored. SAF knows his football so when he picks a player like Anderson he knows what he is doing compared to the bufoons on here who make stupid statements. I am not a mna utd fan and I hope they get stuffed on wednesday, but Anderson is a top class player and still only 20. United have a big squad and Anderson being only 20 has to be used wisely. Nani has not done too badly either. Remember Ronaldo first 3-4 years when he was doing all those tricks with no end product, look at him now. Anyway I repaet again, SAF sees these guys everyday so he knows what they can do.

Get off your high horse and moral delusion. Drogba's outburst was not bad. Was he the only one that reacted that way. UEFA and that imbecile Gordon Taylor can say what he wants, he appears like he is out of touch with the game. Terry was right to defend Drogba. If he had hit the referee yes that would have been totally unacceptable.

Also many on this post have me scratching my head. Football is a contact sport. Your height or build has nothing to do with it. If your in motion and some force no matter how small hits you, you loose balance and most often will go down. It reminds me of when you hear so called football writers and commentators make stupid comments like "oh he has a good touch for a big man" like being small equates to good ball control. Anyway Chelsea lost and should have taken their chances. Well done Barca now I hope they completely annilate Man Utd. As for Drogba without him chelsea would have been knocked out a long time ago in the CL. Shame a deranged shrink come referee wanted to steal the limelight for bad decisions. I just watched the match again, I dont think I have ever seen a catalog of bad decisions. I hope I can get the referee's address so he can use up my remaining health ( BUPA ) plan credits with specsavers. :-)

People talk about stopping and starting the game, but using technology would have saved the incompetent bufoon of a referee's blushes yesterday.
Man Utd pile on agony for Wenger 12:09pm on 06 May 2009 First of hats off to man utd as much as that make me sick to admit. We lost because of a bad performance at old trafford and two mistakes. Gibbs is an absolute gem. Many so called experienced players and world class players have slipped then the opposition score and then suffer loss of confidence. I personally think the squad is Arsenal squad is good enough and maybe just need 2 more players more for cover. I used to be a strong supporter of Adebayor but I must admit these two games and recent talk about Milan ha made me re-think my loyalty to him.

Even if we had Arshavin playing do you guys really think he would have scored 4-5 goals for us. The second goal killed us off.

Also lets me honest with ourselves, for all the imbeciles who love to have a go at Gallas, the strange thing is that he has kicked started our season and also ended it. His outburst was what we needed, and I must say AW handled the situation badly by making Fabregas captain. Gallas shoudl have kept it or Kolo Toure who is a more natural leader and motivator. Our defensive injuries COT US THE FA CUP SEMI AND CL SEMI. When you have a back 5 that are unbeated in teh league and suddenly in cup matches its changing no matter your experience it will come back to hunt you. I still believe in this team winning something next season, call it musguided loyalty, self denial or whatever theis team will come good. The call for experinece players to be bought is NO GUARANTEE that they would make a difference. The main focus should be keeping our players fit. Yesterday was a good day for me until the defeat, but lets
keep the faith fellow gunners. The good times will be back soon.

Rooney I think is stretching it a bit far to be classed as world class. Good player but certainly not world class. Ronaldo is without doubt a world class player, hope he hits the br more at the emirates :-). I was not happy with the performance yesterday by my beloved Arsenal. Not sure if that was tiredness,nerves or a tactical ploy by Wenger. But in Wenger we trust a different Arsenal will triumph in the second leg. Man Utd should have taken their chances.
