Moral panic? 3:18pm on 16 Jul 2008 You talk about the print media but no mention of the BBC's editorial line on this and every other topic.

Could this be linked to explaining why there is virtually no knife crime in rural areas?

If you don't know the answers to these questions don't you think you should find out?

Westminster rumours 2:26pm on 12 Jun 2008 I have got a lot of time for David Davis but I cannot support him on this. He is talking about historical hard won freedoms.

Yes OK.

But in practicle term we are talking about Islamic terrorism. That these people exist in Britain is an unfortunate truth. That we cannot legislate just for them is also unfortunate.

As a non muslim indigenous Englishman, do I feel that I or anybody in my family is losing out as a result of this law? No I do not. I am sure nor does the vast majority of people in this country.

Only terrorists and their sympathisers need be concerned by this new law - something that does not bother me in the slightest.

I want my family and my property to be safe. Preserving the legality of a document created out of King John's problems with his Barons is not something high on my priority list.
'Sexed-up' evidence? 11:36am on 11 Jun 2008 I am far more interested in my right to not get blown up while travelling to work than I am in the complaints of a suspected Islamic jihadist to not have his 'human rights' violated.

Let the security services have 42 days if they need it. They will not use these powers except as a last resort.

BTW - I loath and detest Shami Chakribati and all she stands for. She and Gareth Peirce are responsible for making human rights lawyers less respected than estate agents and parking attendents.

Humiliation for the PM 1:54pm on 23 Apr 2008 Frank Feild and his mates have got Gordon whenever they want him. All new policy now needs to be approved by them and the conservatives.

This is a rediculous situation. A general election should be called immediately. Failing this the Labour party need to replace Brown.

Frank Feild for PM anyone? Please not Ed Balls.
