Spot the difference 09:15am on 24 Nov 2009 I heard these snake oil sellers on the radio spouting their drivel. They sounded like some desperate wannabes failing the auditions to get on to some godawful TV programme like 'Dragon's Den' or 'You're Fired!', whatever it's called.

Lofty aspirations indeed but pie in the sky. Unfortunately governments will inevitably devolve power upwards and to themselves only thereby increasing inequality amongst the lower orders (Us!) and the self-righteous, self serving hypocrites (Them!) who have set themselves up as our masters. They have come to expect, as a right and in abundance, power, respect and, last but by no means least, money.
What democracy is to me is the means to curtail Government's natural inclination to smash the old jackboot into Humanity's face over and over again! I don't trust them when they do stuff behind my back.

Never voted for the Iraq War
Never voted against an investigation into the Iraq War
Never voted for ID cards
Never voted against transparency in government
Never voted for for Labour's anti-terrorism laws
You could say that she is untainted by democracy. Just like the EU.
