You know so much but you can't tell. Do you realise how odd that sounds? Yet, there is currently an enquiry going on about a war the UK got involved in, where Parliament was clearly mis-informed at best by the UK leader.

However, you do not give that a mention but rant on about some amazing cover up that you can't tell us about?

Points and punchlines 08:14am on 25 Nov 2009 I am at a total loss as to how some of the regulars on this blog see no issue with having blinkers firmly fixed, when it comes to all things bad about Cardiff Bay and all things good about Westminster. Even with the recent appalling behaviour of their beloved London democracy, they still concentrate their ire on the much more open and frankly more relevant Assembly.

Dare I suggest that they have an agenda?

I wouldn't rule out a Spring referendum but cannot see how it can be fitted in. The earliest would be March in order to allow at least some campaign after the new year and that would leave a mere 2 months to the Assembly elections.

It's not the members that are the problem, but the MPs. They don't want to lose their status, however beneficial it may be for Wales.
Peace in our time? 6:10pm on 24 Nov 2009 This ridiculous situation should never have occurred. Rhodri had no choice but to eat humble pie but why did he fall for Hain's trickery?

Plaid were absolutely right in their response and at the end of the day, what choice did they have?

Plaid have come out well from this, in sticking to principles and acting swiftly. Sadly, Rhodri has finished with a fuax pas but at least he saved the day which e deserves credit for.

As for Peter Hain, how are Plaid or even Labour AMs supposed to trust him on the referendum now?

Oh by the way Stoney, it's back on again! I thought that would wipe the smile off your face.
First Minister's statement 5:16pm on 24 Nov 2009 I welcome the fact that Rhodri is stepping back from the edge of the cliff and has agreed a statement with IWJ. However, you have to ask why he signed up to it in the first place.
Of course, the real troublemaker here is a cetain MP for Neath and just for good measure, it appears that he is at the Senedd tomorrow. I would venture a bet that a few Labour AMs have knocked him off their Xmas card list.
Paul Murphy would never have been so stupid.
First Minister's statement 4:25pm on 24 Nov 2009 There is absolutely no way that Plaid will allow Labour to be ambiguous on this one. If the Autumn of 2010 is ruled out, then the likelyhood of any referendum before the 2011 Assembly elections is very slim indeed. How would you pssibly squeeze one in between the new year and May's elections?
The referendum prior to 2011 was manditory as part of the One Wales Agreement and so Labour 'Welshing' on this deal is the end of this coalition. I have no doubt in my mind whatsoever that Plaid members would walk over such betrayal by Labour.
Who is in charge of Labour in this coalition-their AMs or their MPs?
What if ..? 3:02pm on 14 Nov 2009 Does anyone in True Wales have anything psoitive to say about Wales, the Welsh or Welsh language? Also, I do not hear them trumpeting the UK state, or the mistakes it makes that have a detrimental affect on Wales.

You can't have it both ways.
