Salad, salad, salad, salad, salad, salad, salad.... 7:31pm on 16 Sep 2009 Totally off topic, but I thought I'd mention..... I'll definitely be swtiching my radio over when Terry leaves. Switching it to Radio 2 that is. Finally we get something to get us going in the morning!
The RAJARs are in 6:22pm on 08 May 2009 I'm a recent Radio 7 convert going back to the recent interview with the R7 controller on Feedback. What have I been missing all this time?
The new web site: one week on 11:24pm on 13 Apr 2009 OK I take it back - a little playing around and it's a 1000 times quicker than the old site.

The other really good thing is the quick link from the front page to programme genre and the link to play the programme on i player. If you know what you're after it seems far quicker - you're not bogged down by information if you don't need it, but it's there if you click on the programme then more details on the right (easy to miss that).

There's obviously a lot more work needed on navigation - I keep finding the old features by accident after a lot of work. If I was new to the website I wouldn't have a clue.

Once that works though the tagging idea is really good.

I do like the front page though - it's more like opening a what's on magazine. Taling of which the what's on feature is useful because you can link to the relevant information you're listening to, but the what's next would be equally useful.
I'm Sorry I Haven't A Clue 2:17pm on 25 Feb 2009 The best news I've heard all year.

It was Home Truths that really got me into listening to radio 4, and Saturday Live (I think Fi Glover made a good stand in for Clare Baldwin by the way.....) which brought me back about 1 1/2 years ago, and ISIHAC became one of the best points of the week. The difference with home truths is the rest of the ISIHAC clue team also own the show - so they're just one man down. The new 3 hosts all have the perfect tone. I'm not sure what Simon Mayo was trying to do in the show that replaced ISIHAC in the schedule - you felt kind of sorry for him at the end when it was a bit cringeworthy.
Repeats 11:31am on 17 Feb 2009 Good point above re Dessert Island Discs. It would be one of my favourite programmes (I've got over the loss of Sue Lawley now..... I think) if only it could be repeated in an afternoon or evening. You get a side of the interviewees you never see (or hear) anywhere else. Fridays and Sundays are the busiest mornings so tuning in is the last thing I ever think of. Aside from that though if putting repeats on means the quality of other programmes is kept up - I can only see that as a good thing. And some things - especially some of the better plays demand repeats anyway. When a repeat comes on live radio I switch to the iplayer anyway and find things I've missed.
TWO YEARS AND A BIG THANKS TO YOUS ALL. 1:22pm on 19 Apr 2008 Can I have all those hats that everyone's taking off - I'm sure I can sell them down the market....
