Yes, it's the whole stretch of canal from Chirk to Llan and that's why work is now being planned to get locals involved along the route [Chirk, Pentre, Froncysyllte, Trevor, Garth, Pontcysyllte, Llangollen, Pentrefelin and Llantysilio].

There are lots of stories on the homepage which refer to other places within north east Wales, like our guide to 'every' town in our area. That said, our reasoning behind Wrexham receiving more mentions is because it's the principal town in our region.

I've just been reading the Denbighshire Visitor which offers an explanation: "Plans to axe Cae Ddol were announced in January as part of a list of money saving measures aimed at helping the county's education services and was said to save the council £7,000."
