New Screen. 3:15pm on 18 Feb 2009 Eddie how do you lok at all the split screens at once? Do your eyes work independently from one another (or is it of one another - oh never mind) anyway do you ever find your eyes bumping into each other on the way round? I worry about these things!

Carol Thatcher. What do you think? 2:13pm on 05 Feb 2009 I like Carol Thatcher; she's witty and intelligent and always has something of interest in her pieces on the One Show.

What she said in a private conversation was between her and the person/people she was with. If anyone did not like what she said then that person should have had the courage to have a quiet word with Carol not to go trotting off to teacher as a telltale. That's what used to happen in Sviet Russai and Nazi Germany. Think on that who ever you are.

As regards golliwogs, I had a much loved one when I was a child as did my daughter. I also used to love the "look for the golly, the golly on the jar" ads. In my naivety I have never realised that it was a term of abuse until years later when gollies were banned for being racist.

What a sad country we are!!!

The BBC and the DEC. 12:55pm on 26 Jan 2009 It is ridiculous for the BBC not to broadcast this appeal. It is an issue of COMPASSION, Mark Thompson, something we frequently accuse militant islamists of not having.

Can't you broadcast the appeal with a disclaimer saying it is on humanitarian grounds and does not compromise your position as an impartial broadcaster.
