I watch the BBC, I watch Sky, I watch CNN, and I even watch Channel 4, this I do whilst having a subscription to the Times & Guardian.

What I find from my broad viewing and reading habits is that the Times has a centre right bias, the Guardian a centre left bias, this is all perfectly acceptable as both newspapers political views are well known, and that I as the customer have the option of purchasing/or not either paper. The same is true for CNN, Channel 4 and SKY, the BBC however does not allow me this option, I am forced to pay a license fee (which I actually support), this means that the BBC cannot show any bias towards any political view.

Unfortunatly the BBC does have a centre of left bias, this is most clear in the BBCs news reportage which is obviously sympathetic towards left wing views, the Today programme being a clear example of this bias.

The amount of centre of right websites devoted towards exposing BBC political bias (ex Biased BBC) and the lack of left of centre websites shows Khrystalar claims regarding bias to be weak.

What is very interesting is the amount of BBC employees who have either worked for the Labour party or have moved from the BBC to the Labour party (this information is freely available on the internet), a couple of examples are the BBCs Economic Editor, Robert Preston who wrote Gordon Browns autobiography, and Lord Grade.

So does the BBC have credibilty problems when it claims impartiality?, the answer has to be an empthatic YES.

Interesting question take the BNP as an example, clearly many of their policies are left of centre, indeed many of the people voting for them are typical Labour supporters. Yet Labour would have us believe that you must be right wing to be racist or xenophobic !!, does Labour forget that the National Socialist Parties (NAZI) policies were also clearly left wing?.

It is concerning that so many people feel able to vote for parties such as the BNP, equally it is regretable that the rhetoric being used by Labour Ministers (Milliband, McShane etc) to attempt to smear the Conservatives is the same as that used by the NAZI to smear their political opponents.
The key to tackling unwanted admirers 7:53pm on 29 Aug 2009 CraigMorecambe, the joke is on you, especially when the Conservatives trounce Labour at the next election (Super Great!).

So yes, let Mr Crick continue with his pointless blog, all he is doing is ensuring that he will be looking for a new job sometime in the next 8 months.....
Wednesday 29 July 2009 9:17pm on 29 Jul 2009 Post 10, you claim that wind farms generate billions in income in Germany, I am sorry to disagree but your statement is simply not true.

You also claim that micro generation is economical and being expanded in europe, where are you getting your information, the figures that I have seen from the EU give the opposing view.

It is also not true to say that wind farms generate hundreds of thousands of jobs, again your figures are not supported by any official government statistics anywhere in Europe.

I am fully supportive of green energy and fully support much more green intitivies, however, I am not supportive of posts which do not use factual information to back up someones personal opinions.
Friday 24 July 2009 7:56pm on 24 Jul 2009 Gurubear, talk about sour grapes, Labour received only 1 in 9 of the votes, the Conservatives 2 in 9 of the votes, if the votes were reflected in a General Election the Conservatives woul have over 400 MP's in the House of Commons.

I guess that all the Labour guests will be telling us how they will learn from this landslide drubbing, and blame everybody but themselves.

And whilst we are talking about the silent majority, Tony Blair won less than 30% of the vote when Labour won the last UK election and the Conservatives 27% of the vote, so how does that fit your narrative?.

Please go and reread your entries, you will see that you have just made assertion after assertion without any foundation.

You started with what you call a personal feud, and if you do not like to be corrected then by all means blog elsewhere.

I mentioned North Korea twice in my orignal post, which funny enough is relevant as the original post by Mr Lustig is on....North Korea.

You said that invading countries was the reserve of the US of A, I just pointed out that many other countries have done the same, which disproves your original post.

I think it is you that is fixated, fixated with ignoring what I said and spinning your comments to fit your own narrative.

I would also like to point out that I made no reference of atomic bombs (that was another poster).

As you would have noted if you had bothered to read my post, I do not mention North Korea as one of the countries that had invaded another country (again you make up your own argumentation), I was responding to your comment about the USA being the only country invading others.

You can spin and distort comments as much as you like, however it just makes you look silly, and silly you are.

To add to your rather limited list of countries that have invaded others in the last 30 years:

Poland, Russia, Iraq, Denmark, Israel, Eriteria, Eithiopia...etc etc.

Lisbon: A Pandora's box 8:37pm on 24 Jun 2009 Jukka Rohila & Mathiasen, your personal issues with specific countries are deflecting from some very strong points you make. Could you tone down your rhetoric and try and stay reasonable when responding to some of the other posters?.

Mr Mardell's post was on Ireland and the wrangling going on over the Lisbon treaty, it has nothing to do with WW2 or Danish fears that they are always the victims of US anger over WTO disputes.
