Team of the tournament 6:28pm on 30 Jun 2008 What about Zambrotta?? I thought he put in excellent performances in every game in which Italy 'played'. He was consistent, his passing was good and I don't ever remember him being caught out of position.

I also have to question the inclusion of Philip Lahm - unless you are asking for an example of appalling defending and a complete inability to mark an opposing player. Despite his goal, he was attrocious.
