Reasons to be careful 7:20pm on 23 Nov 2009 poles are by themselves only an indicator and are thus usefull tools and thats all.
to be blunt it aint over until the fat lady sings, until there is an election and the results are counted every thing is just hot air and spin only worthy of the tabloid press and hopefully not great institutions like the bbc.
Spot the difference 7:15pm on 23 Nov 2009 so what you seem to be hinting at is what almost every one knows and that is the two leaders have the same answers becouse they are both cut from the same lines and either should be ruled out of becoming the next prime minister due to the fact one is as bad as the other.
they both seem to be placing the good of their respective parties ahead of the good of the country and that is unacceptable these days.
all the voters of this country wants is an honest politician that will tell as how it is, why it is and how its going to be, up front no spin just honesty and action.
Britain lands key EU foreign policy post 4:41pm on 20 Nov 2009 what a farce, i always thought the EU was a joke and the recent postings just enforce my opinion.
i am glad tony blair failed to gain the post of president and am relieved to see the european system of democracy gone mad is thriving.
its just a shame that we the british voter was never given a vote on the treaty or even opting out of the EU as a whole.
If you thought it was all over... 2:37pm on 19 Nov 2009 when can we the little people be allowed to vote on europe, it seems never under this government or the next judging from their statements so we have to suffer more stupid rules from overseas that should not be british laws or as a country we have to bow and scrape to our european masters.
as for tony blair's attempt at the top job in europe he thought doing what his european masters wanted would aid him when in reality he has been used and then dumped like last weeks news papers.
so he sold us up the river to become president, well thanks a lot tony. it seems traitors never win but they dont seem to be brought to justice either.
hopefully history will record these recent years as second in disaster for this country to the norman invasion of 1066.
shouldnt those elected into the british government represent what those that voted them there firstly.
we have been failed by recent governments becouse they have bent over backwards to reduce this country to an also ran in europe when in living history we were a world power feared and respected not the joke we have become.
Not the Queen's Speech 11:02am on 18 Nov 2009 its a shame that the ruling monarch is being used as a puppet of a government that deserves it not.
the way our government has chopped into the house of lords to pack it with yes members removing hereditary peers etc.
thus sadly the queens speech is more than likely the mandelson spin speech or one of those other spin merchants of neu-labour sent to be read by her majesty.
What Mercedes buy-out of Brawn could mean 5:39pm on 16 Nov 2009 as an avid viewer of F1 it saddens me when a small independent company like brawn goes under to bigger global companies sadly big money rules and the fans loose out again.
if jensen button goes to mclaren i can only hope its a disaster for both and one of the new teams running cosworth engines takes the lead.
if button goes to mclaren he will become number two to hamilton and that sadly would ruin his chances of ever getting another world title.
i will watch avidly to see if bruno senna has any of his late great uncles abilities.
the new lotus looks good and will be hard to beat if the package is correct.
Social media focus 3:27pm on 16 Nov 2009 as an avid reader and viewer of the bbc i can only say i hope this move is the right one and will only improove the service.
Plotters, quitters and fighters 3:24pm on 16 Nov 2009 the whole concept of party politics has shown itself over recent years to be highly flawed and in dire need of reform.
who cares if this labour party can win the next election with mr brown in charge, i feel its time they were disbanded or disolved prior to any election but my feeling is the same with all parties and their bad habit of putting themselves before the country.
these modern mp's seem to preffer to play the media card and self premote themselves and their party and seem to have no original ideas unless their party agrees them, and that they seem to do very rarely.
then you get the party infighting that in reality stops the party in its tracks and if that party happens to be in government the country suffers as a whole.
Time to eat the pets? 12:46pm on 15 Nov 2009 you have animals for food not your pets, the idea of mrs smith down the road cooking and eating her pet poodle fluffy is rather sickening.
a skinned cat has the same appearance of that of a skinned rabbit so many a greedy butcher may well have sold cat for rabbit to the unsuspecting customer.
there are those that just dont like animals as pets and would welcom eating dogs, cats etc but to be blunt the english are supposed to be a nation of dog lovers and if you have to eat your pet dog the next logical phase is to eat human, so lets fatten up some people for a barbeque.
Gordon Brown and the military 4:21pm on 13 Nov 2009 yet even though he was not directly responsable for our involvement he has not the back bone to overturn his predisessors poor judgement and recall all troops from what is in reality american posturing and power broking.
thus as the current PM all deaths and injuries as a result of opperations overseas fall at his door.
why moan he wanted the job and he has the job but it seems he can not do the job and be replaced by someone that can do the job.
