Giggs is Manchester United's shining knight 06:07am on 27 Sep 2009 Good read, nice to see you are standing by your predictions, but humble enough to openly state where you could've been wrong.

They say after 10 games is when you look at the table and can start to get a idea of how things will pan out.... that tenth game for us will be Liverpool away. And surely it's safe to say they are over their early blip now... So that will be a big, big game.
How will the Premier League unfold? 12:03pm on 11 Aug 2009 Pretty spot on. Only thing I disagree on is the top three.

My head says Chelsea.

Both say Liverpool in second. They quite simply haven't addressed their faults from last year: lack of depth, mainly reasonable cover up front for Gerrard and Torres.

The fallout from Setanta's collapse 2:26pm on 24 Jun 2009 When will be done with just having traditional 6 out 10 game slots, with 5 going to Sky and 1 going to a token competitor? Surely in this day in age we should be offering a pay per view service, with all matches (including lower league) available to buy. Having the matches staged over the weekend as they have them should be ran side by side with this, as a cheaper "season ticket" subscription could run and then you get to watch 5/6 Premier League games a weekend (if you really wanted to). Matches could be sold (as the Champions League games currently done on the internet for £2) for between £2 to £5 per game for house hold viewing, and slight more for public viewing, which could go some way to reducing the foreign satellite usage that is rife at the moment, either via the internet or from a channel on Sky/Freesat/Virgin Media.

Surely a method like this is the future of football on television... And surely the Premier League and Sky (et al) would hoping to switch to this sooner rather than latter when too many people get in their ways of watching it online for free. The music industry was to slow to act over the internet, now with faster and faster broadband I fear the sport industry will go the same way.
Spotify versus last.fm 9:51pm on 15 May 2009 I'm an avid user of both sites. Last.fm for keep track of what I'm listening to and finding new music. Spotify for listening to it.

Spotify has also (for the most part) allowed me to clear my computer of MP3s which were taking up space on my hard drive.
Liverpool make Ferguson suffer 12:39pm on 15 Mar 2009 Liverpool were imense, united were poor. Even with 11 men we didn't look likley to score a 2nd.

However hopeful this was the wake up call the fans, the team (and maybe SAF) needed to remind us that we can't just walk into games and win. A wake call that will spur us on to a domestic treble and maybe even a Quad, Quint... whatever you want to call.

The BBC crew are so much better than those on ITV, and the commentary on Virgin Media internet highlights are just plain dull.

Everyone is talking United, Liverpool, Chelsea. I've not ruled out Arsenal (or even Villa yet!) they are both only three points behind Chelsea. This is a very open race in a very open season.
