What a weekend in Titletown! 00:51am on 18 Nov 2009 I enjoyed the story Neil, although there's precious little about the 4 hour game - are you sure you didn't partake of the tailgating?!?!

One of the funniest things I've seen was at the start of the season with the drama surrounding Brett Farve going to Minnesota. Apparently there were t-shirts going round Wisconsin saying "We'll never forget you Brent"!

"Apple sold 3.05 million Macintosh computers......sold 10.2 million iPods....sold 7.4 million iPhones....."

So that's over 5 times as many "non-PC" items as PC items, seems to me Apple are no longer a computer company!

Here's a thing: the only reason Apple's computer line could make more money than the massively selling ipod/iphone line is that the margin on those 3million computers is huge - because they're charging you a fortune so you can be self righteous. Wake up and smell the coffee.

Mac PC's are still a niche product. It's easy to grow 17% when you have a small starting base. Market expectations are that Microsoft will sell 177Million copies of Windows 7 alone in 2010.

By all means use your Mac - be happy with it. Just don't criticise me because I choose a PC.

First off - I hate Apple. Actually I take that back, I hate Apple "fans" because they're so over self righteous.

It's great to see the cracks coming in and the "true" long-time users such as Mark_MWFC realising that Apple is a commercial operation that will exploit any market opportunity it can.

Apple won't do netbooks per the Beeb's own article (http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/technology/8085044.stm) and I quote: "In April, Apple boss Tim Cook said the firm wasn't interested in netbooks as they did not represent "a good consumer experience"." Hmmmm. The fastest growing segment of the computing market isn't a good consumer experience. You mean you can't make enough money from it mate.

The iphone is a case in point. It is still ridiculously overpriced for what it is.......and what it is, is a crappy phone (its raison d'etre) saved by the App Store add-on's. This second point is openly publicized by Apple in its advertising (in the US anyway). THE APP STORE IS 3RD PARTY PEOPLE. THAT'S LIKE IBM CLAIMING CREDIT FOR WINDOWS BECAUSE IT'S THEIR HARDWARE.

I'm off for a lie down to recover. Vive la difference.

#3 (Kathi's I think - the one with the half hidden legs?) immediately stuck me, as a funny, quirky snapshot in time......the kind of thing I would have photographed whilst my wife tutted and walked on ahead!

As a newbie photographer I had to say I hadn't heard of these people, but I like looking at older pictures so I took a look at where I now currently live and it's very interesting. I even learned a new word "Hooverville" (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hooverville).

I agree with you on the "styles" debate - there's definitely good and bad on both sides - but the Friedlander stuff is a bit off the wall for me!

My point is - not much of Rangers dominance in the last 6 years is there....what you won you were lucky to have won.

* Seems like all you then go on to do is complain.

* So to truly appreciate something you have to understand it. Does that apply to food? art? music? Your "messiah" the beloved Jose Mourinho pretty much went straight to management as he was a crap player.

* Barca definitely had an off day. They won their previous 2 rounds 5-1 & 6-3 on aggregate and scored 5 or more goals several times in the group stage. They're walking away with La Liga after hammering Real at the weekend and are scoring bucketloads of goals in La Liga (where sides frequently "park the bus"). With La Liga won I expect Guardiola to rest some of his obviously tired players and Lord Ferg to become more worried.

* I think it's you who's displaying your raw emotion, passion and adrenalin do the talking......is that your point!?! Clever? No, wrong. Teams lose finals all the time - for every winner there's a loser. Emotions run high, as a fan I understand. However professionals know where to draw the line. Even children (sic. Drogba) know this. When Gazza got booked in Italia 90 in the semi did he rant and rave? No he cried and became a celebrity for the right reasons.

* I'm a Scotland fan. We're used to backs-to-the-wall defending and snatching the odd victory such as those against France. It doesn't lead us to delusions of grandeur that we're better than France (well maybe).

Get a nice bit of fish to go with that massive chip on your shoulder and get over it. If you wouldn't mind boycotting watching the final and taking part next year that would be nice too.
Old Firm dominance is depressing 6:55pm on 17 Apr 2009 #16 nailed it. The players vote for it, so how can it be a duopoly (well done #3).

Poor article Jim, expect better from you - this reads like Chick Young...
