Not just a pretty Facebook 7:00pm on 30 Jul 2009 This is so disgusting, specially when you consider the amount of violent behaviour that people with disabilities attract. Anyone who can't see that this is a real and serious problem is being foolish and unthinking... or just plain prejudiced.
Disability Bitch in benefits shocker! 7:24pm on 25 Jun 2009 People in Northern Ireland spend four million a year on appeals? That's just insane, especially when you consider we're talking about a place with only 1.7 million people... and yet, when you think about how the system works (or fails to) it isn't entirely shocking. I wonder what the statistic on that for the UK as a whole is... doesn't bear thinking about!

You register a book on BookCrossing.com so that it gets a unique number, then you make a note on the website to say what you thought about it and what you're going to do with it. Then you leave the book somewhere and wait to see where it travels. Some people do more organised bookrings, too, and there are local groups all over the place who meet up for social time, coffee (or perhaps booze) and book-swapping.
