Tell us your FA Cup Final stories 10:23pm on 16 May 2008 My Cup Final memory is of the 1983 Cup Final Brighton -v- Man Utd. Having watched the 2-2 draw on TV and having consumed enough beer to make queuing overnight at Wembley a sensible proposition, that is what we did.

We were allowed to buy 4 tickets each and watched the then young Bryan Robson lift the trophy for the first time on Matt Busby's birthday.

As a United fan it was a very relaxed affair being 3-0 up at half time so there was a real party atmosphere.

It also made up for my tears in the 10 minute final of 1979 - why oh why didn't Lou Macari bring down Liam Brady??!!
