Wednesday's international football 10:02pm on 20 Aug 2008 What the hell is Capello playing at?
I really thought he might have stamped his personal authority, and picked a "team" and not a collection of players who have clearly proved they are not capable.
Why did we get rid of McClaren if this guy is going to pick the same losers?
Looks to me like he judges players by the size of their inflated Premiership wages, and not by their desire and technical ability.
The Capello guy needs to introduce a performance and development plan....ditch the proven failures like Lampard and his mates, and select players who he can nurture and develop into a winning team. Thank goodness he's not in charge of our Olympic cyclists/rowers/sailors etc....he'd be picking the Redgrave (proven ability at the highest level) Boardman (inventive and technically brilliant) and probably Francis Drake,,,,a proven winner!

Lets hope they all finish safely....and clear!

If you want a more "in depth" view of the Eventing team, and their progress, with more specialised information, I suggest you visit the British Eventing website.
It does strike me that some people are deliberately trying to find fault with Lizzie's comments.
Cross-country course will sort the men from the boys 4:50pm on 09 Aug 2008 "My first impressions were that the course is very small"........great piece of writing there!
I take it she means the course covers a small area, because the actual jumps were described as "huge"
My first impressions are that if this is the best the BBC can do, then heaven help us!
For goodness sake, please do not dumb down.....give us an expert insight into what is going on on the course....not a description of the insects.
