What do you think about Monkey? 10:15pm on 24 Jul 2008 This monkey character for the Olympics is a complete degradation of human nature and an embodiment of evil tendencies in the form of cartoon.

I do not need the news to confirm what I see day in day out.

But I do appreciate that the media help us to connect with the victims of tragedies, and that we can all learn better to prevent such tragedies from occuring in other places, and in our lives.

One victim is too much. Do you want a society where you will be afraid to walk out, whilst the media report on Britney Spears? It already exists.
The Great Eurovision Row 1:38pm on 27 May 2008 The voting system needs to change, that is all. There are no racial issues, or political issues, or 'eastern melos' issues - people in Eastern Europe still buy more western music than their own. Send Michael Buble to Eurovision and he will win it. The (good) performers from other countries are of his calibre. This is why UK cannot win by sending 'rising stars'.

People of the Eastern Europe grew up without any hope to win Eurovision contest since western countries ALWAYS voted for each other. That system guaranteed the success of UK in the past. Still, they took it well, enjoying the evening and taking the best out of it. I do not remember Terry complaining then?

And, the whole World (including Australia and USA) know about Terry Wogan's rude comments (not sarcastic, rude), and that is not helping UK whatsoever. He gets obscene amounts of money for playing UK reputation down.
Last Orders 2:42pm on 07 Mar 2008 Yesterday I saw three members of the 'working' class walking down a street in the safest English city, screaming blatant racist insults at the taxi drivers. This morning, I saw a very similar scene. I have not seen such scenes in the past three years, and now two in less than 24 hours.

Is this a sort of behaviour that BBC wishes to promote? Do you need to create scapegoats to divert attention from the banks who created the credit crunch despite their enormous profits?
