Semenya's sex test explained 11:29pm on 11 Sep 2009 I am sick of the politics that is becoming an ever increasing part of sport on the BBC. Semenya's gender, F1 cheating, Football transfer bans/scandals, Blood scandal in rugby to name but a few. I feel that these events are given far more coverage than they are due. Can we please stick more to the actual sport and not the gossip. Are we so bored with the achievements that sportsmen and women make that we need to resort to this drivel?
Tri as hard as you can, but sometimes it's not enough 7:42pm on 25 Aug 2008 Well done to all the triathletes. I would have loved to hve seen Don up there in a medal position. I'm sure he had the potential. The guy is tough though, I'm sure he'll come through this upset. Brownlee was brilliant, I wouldnt be surprised if he's the favourite in 4 years.

Britain needs way more emphasis on triathlon. Hazel Irvine didn't even get his name right when congratulating him, did you Haley? I'm sick of seeing the triathlon BBC page updated once every 2-3months or so while the football page is updated 2-3 times a day with pics of Harry Redknapp's fat red face and his eyes half shut.
So Paula's made it to the start-line - but what now? 6:23pm on 24 Aug 2008 barmar99, shame on you. You seem to have it in for one of Britain's greatest ever athletes. To portray Radcliffe as a quitter first and foremorst without commending her phenomenal achievements is the height of ignorance. Most people have quit at some point in their lives - it is how we return from our mistakes that defines our strength of character.

Lets see if you and the other cynics can redeem yourselves from your foolish antagonistic comments about this inspirational figure in sport.

Although I have to admit Paula DID quit in Athens but a quitter is the last word anyone should use to describe her. when you think of how she was forced out of the medals by the Africans over and over again but persisted until she dominated them. Her career is like one huge marathon and she has come out on top.

Paula, the nation is behind you every step of the way. Bring home the gold.
