David Davis resigns as an MP. 6:29pm on 12 Jun 2008 never voted tory. never liked david davies. but stunned that i am impressed with a tory shadow cabinet member. integrity, balls, risk taker- whether its a stunt or not, this man is standing up for his beliefs- and that is pretty much an unseen commodity in politics today- hence why so many people don't bother. Go go!
Bad night for Labour 07:24am on 02 May 2008 I live in a traditional Labour seat; the Lib Dems won it as a result of the war in Iraq in 2004. Since 2004 and before then, each election the Labour party have not issued ANYTHING saying what their policies and intentions are, locally or nationally. the Lib Dems, on the other hand, are very active at a grass roots level- so why are we surprised that Labour does badly? No one has a clue what they do!
