Please don't waffle that the Lisbon treaty isn't the same thing that a referendum was promised on, we're all far more intelligent than the BBC Newsroom or the Labour party fodder.
The 'C' word 4:53pm on 15 Sep 2009 What rubbish. What proposals have the Lib Dems come out with Robinson? All that Vince Cable has come out with are phrases like "we need to look at pensions" or "we have to look at everything in the round" or "nothing is off the table"

Trident and ID cards is spending we haven't yet gone in for, so cutting it saves NOTHING I repeat NOTHING Robinson.

He can't utter two words with out an autocue present, he even had one present on his last Whitehouse speech when Webb 'claimed' he didn't. Luckily the brilliant Fox News told us the facts unlike the BBC.

Obama has gotten nothing for all his waffle from the Europeans. 5000 part time soldiers for HIS war in Afghanistan. His economy is going down the pan as is his popularity.

The only thing going for Obama is Iraq and he opposed the surge there!!!!
Breakfast at the BRIT School 11:46am on 26 Mar 2009 The reporting today was VERY misleading by the BBC. For example Amy Winehouse attended other performing arts schools before the Brits school, as did Leona Lewis. These schools have expensive fees and in the case of Lewis, who unlike Nicky Campbells throwaway comment didn't just get it all from the awful X-Factor but had spent years training to be a classical singer originally and had done endless jobbing sessions as a singer.

Again the reporting was poor, in particular the bloke from the NME. The school is not there to turn out wannabes but people who have a passion for music. As the HT pointed out many people leave the school and have a very successful career in music as session musicians or singers without being 'famous'

Nicky Campbell for some reason kept on and on (as he does) about being famous which is not the point of the school.

Music is one of our greatest exports so why not encourage it? There should be more schools like this, as there should be for science and engineering.

I thought the whole programme was very poor and typical of the output of the BBC these days.

Building The Olympic Dream 5:24pm on 04 Mar 2009 Those 8 minute segments are always difficult to do. I thought the bus opening up was a great idea. A double decker red bus is a symbol of London.

Wasn't over impressed with the hedge though.

Some people keep asking why Leona Lewis was chosen. Well she comes from that part of London where the Olympics are going to be held. Would they have rather had a drunk Amy Winehouse? Also, she is one of the few western artists the Chinese would know of as her records ARE allowed on Chinese radio.

Not to sure of the song though. Much better songs could have been used, Whole lotta love was never much of a song.

There was a lot of snobbery by some in the media, but compared to the Aussie's with the drunk Kangaroo's and men on bikes I thought it was good.
Restoring science to its rightful place 10:31pm on 24 Jan 2009 Utyer rubbish Mr Rippon. The BBC have distorted the facts. This is totally unacceptable and I shall be making a formal complaint.
