Being a LFC fan, I honestly beleive Liverpool should have been champions last season as they were the best team. But ManU grinded out last minute winners in the late season and it made the difference.

One of the most hilarious statements I've read in a while. The best team WINS the league and as far as I can recall Liverpool didn't.
Oh and don't the best teams win when they aren't playing well?

Liverpool winning the league? Yup, It's "their year" again. For some reason I think I've heard this all before, but maybe it's just me. Never mind.

My heart says Man Utd but my head says Chelsea.

Lets see how things go, but I am delighting in us being written of and Liverpool being tipped to win the league!(Again)

Chelsea and Man U scored 68 league goals each last season. Chelsea's top scorer was Anelka, Man U's was Ronaldo. One has left their respective club.

With that in mind, how do you arrive at your conclusion?

Hmmm, well doesn't it demonstrate something?
You had your top scorer from the season prior, we didn't and guess what, it needed penalties to decide it. Getting the message?

We matched your unchanged squad with a couple of players who IMO just aren't settled, ie Foster,Owen, etc.

You're as predictable as the Spanish league.

How many brain cells were used to produce post 146?, it seems very similar to post 119, but maybe that's just me in all my delusion.

I personally prefer a Big 4 'and everyone else' to a Big 2 'and everyone else'

Barca & Real supporters must be laughing their heads off with the current landslide of English football and Manchester United in particular, and looking forward to what's set to be a 2-horse race domestically and in Europe.

Hmm....remind me how often it is NOT a two horse race in the Spanish league! Last time I checked,Real and Barca have more than half the entire La Liga titles. La liga is nothing more than an expensive SPL with more diving!

And it's only a landslide in your head. You never think that rationally anyway. Wishful thinking or Appeals to Consequence are your favourites!

We had a much tougher start to the season last year. And guess what, without ever hitting top gear or playing very well, we managed to get 90 points.

These are 'FACTS' you have to live with!

Or are you lot getting excuses ready for next season?
1. The Ref supports them.
2. They never concede a penalty at home! (How many penalties did the scouse concede at home last season?)
3. Sir Alex is paying the official.

One thing I was very disappointed with from the game was referee Howard Webb. He didn't catch one of Man Utd's divers and they were in true Olympic form. I thought Rooney did a superb job with the one Bosingwa got booked for. There was no contact whatever.

Berbatov shouldnt always start, Tevez should at the moment. Sir Alex only starts him due to £30.75 m spent on him.

An rafael did what £90 million pounds of strikers (assuming Tevez signs permanently) couldnt do. SCORE!!

Not so impressive win?...Um...WHO WON?????...Who has the CL? who went home that night with nowt but a pyschologically scared captain and a useless manager?

Who suffered the treble horror last season?

Who did the 'WORTHY' double last season DESPITE having less points at this stage?

Ask YOURSELF these questions before you spout your wishful thinking.

FYI records are nothing if the trophies arent brought in, let it grow to 810 undefeated at home for all I care:

1. They're there to be broken.
2. If you win JACK then I'd rather not have that record.

Arsenal did the double on us, we won the EPL.

Man City then did the same, we won the EPL and CL

let Liverpool do it...who knows we might do the treble if that trend continues.

One more thing, yh unconvincing, but we're CL champs, ur CL chumps...second is not good enough! CHEW ON IT!!
