Life in the fast lane 10:16pm on 30 Apr 2009 Some of you guys would need to take a look at yourselves before you come on here laughing at a footballer being released from his club.

Did you laugh at your mate when he was relesaed from his job recently? Didn't think so. And lets face it, we all know someone who has been affected by the economic downturn and this is no different.

Gav, chin up mate. I have faith that the BBC are sensible enough to still have you as a blogger next year regardless of what club you're associated with. It is by far the best blog on here and the only one that I genuinely get excited about when I see it appear on my screen every thursday! :-)

Life in the fast lane 10:56am on 30 Apr 2009 Also, a player that really springs to mind when I read the blog was Ivan Sproule. Used to play with Hibernian and is currently with Bristol City. He has blistering pace but very little football about him. It really amazes me how he has reached the heights of the Championship as only a few years ago he was playing for a poor team in the Irish League (Institute).

Big four toil as Celtic show spirit 09:17am on 06 Nov 2008 Paul Ince is a muppet. I for one would take his comments with a large pinch of salt. Won't be long til he's out the door at Ewood Park and back down to the bright lights of League 2 where he belongs.

Will be interesting to see how they perform against United at OT. They'll be lucky to get away with a 3-0 defeat.
