Was the Moon landing a hoax? 09:40am on 19 Jul 2009 These reports are untrue. They are dreamt up by journalists trying to sell newspapers. I don't understand why the BBC picks them up.

The use of wee by till operators in this context is extremely common, very few do not use it.
"whatumacallit" is another common word heard on Radio Ulster interviews.
"As I say" is another.
My grandfather always told me that "well" was a hole in the ground, not the start of a sentence.
Poetry launch cancelled after Christian protest 10:16am on 16 Nov 2008 It is becoming increasingly noticable that as support for mainstream religion is fading, that established church organisations are trying to stamp out any form of non religious comment.
I do not support any form of religion, it is a weakness in the human makeup that we cannot believe in ourselves, there has to be some form of other belief that we seem to have to hold on to. Organised religion is the business of making money from this human weakness.
In the case of this book of poems, the religious fanatics, Christian Voice, have shot themselves in the foot. I would not have heard about it without their intervention. I may even go out and buy it. I certainly would not have posted this without their outrageous move to try and stop freedom of speech.
