Yes he developed into a dangerous footballer. Similar to how Henry developed at Arsenal.
But the bad qualities of Ronaldo is still there for all to see. The whole world sees it

Hahahahhahahahha that is how i always felt.
Cristiano will never earn the respect that Ronaldo Luis Nazario gained not only at club level but on the world stage for Brazil.
Brilliant Barcelona outclass Man Utd 2:55pm on 28 May 2009 I see some people are pulling out the 2nd leg of the Semi Final out again as if to say Barca should not have been in the final.
Lets get a few things straight. Barcalona suffered terrible refereeing decisions in the 1st leg. And they got a man sent off unfairly in the 2nd leg.
So please give this 'Chelsea were robbed by the ref nonsense a rest'.
Chelsea decided to park their bus in their box, in their home ground, against a visiting team reduced to 10 men. And they paid the price for it.
Barcalonas victory is wonderful for a neutral like me who wants to see the beautiful game.
Barcalona have been brilliant in La Liga also. Over a 100 goals scored between their top goal scorers in this season alone!
What i am seeing here is pure jealousy from certain EPL fans. There is no team in the premiership that plays with the type of quality that Barca displayed last night. Arsenal came close back in the days of Henry, Viera, Pires, Bergkamp etc (but still slightly short).
The EPL hype train crashing down last night. The Man UTD hype carriage was damaged in the fall.
So reminiscent of England National team who get hyped during World Cups and Euros.
Will the British media learn its lesson? Will the fans learn their lesson?
I dont think so.

This nonsense about 'Premiership being the best league in the world' will also stop.
Dont forget that it is the foreign grown talent that makes the premiership even remotely interesting. The flair of Ronaldo and Torres is not English style football.
Premiership is fast and direct. That will appeal to some viewers. But it is a personal preference.
Spanish league might be slower, but that is also the reason they have so much more skill, flair and control. Because each individual must spend longer on the ball.
Italian is defensive brilliance. Ofcourse to many this is too boring.
But at the end of the day, La Liga and Serie A produce brilliant national teams in Spain and Italy.
What kind of national team does the Premiership produce? A mediocre side that last won the World Cup in 1966.

Man Utd luck finally ran out and it was about time i say.
We have had to watch them win through luck and controversy for over 2 seasons now.
Cristiano Ronaldo will most likely leave. He had that look on him last night.
Bitter recriminations at the Bridge 8:45pm on 07 May 2009 The reason why counter attack teams who defend too much appear to have clear cut chances when they counter attack? Because the opposition throw all their players forward and tire themselves attacking. Thus when the other team counters, it is easier for them to have clearer cut chances. Simply because the main attacking team have to backtrack and try to defend at the same time. That is much harder to do than having all your players defending and looking for counter.
That is why Barca get the applause for me.
